School Of Magic

Not being a fan of the theme, this was the last game to play here at locked in. But you know what? I really enjoyed it! There were a lot of puzzles, but they all made sense, the game flowed well, and the decor was at the usual impeccable standard I've come to expect. It is one of their oldest games and in some places you could see that, but it has been maintained really well, so much so that 95% of players would not notice it and would believe the room was only a year or two old. Fans of Harry Potter will love this and it had all the trademark wins of a "Locked In Glasgow" room. And a special shout out to Chris out GM who was amazing before, during, and after the game!

I LOVED this room and Molly (our guide) My partner and I chatted Molly about our win streak (haven’t lost yet) and she mentioned her same competitive spirit as well. She was a lovely host and had a great energy throughout! She made sure to ask how we prefer help and stayed on our game throughout!! Molly was also right there with us if we were so close to something or she had noticed we opted to not open something that did open so that we didn’t break it. She was amazing. I had great fun with the theme and gameplay! The decor really went hard (especially in one section) Only one puzzle was a bit out of place but still great fun and didn’t affect anything at all!!

This is a really nice room with some cool puzzles and great ambiance. It might be particularly well-suited to beginner/intermediate players. Our group of experts found it a little easy, but still fun. Shoutout to our game master, Faye, who was great!!!!

Loved the layout of the gameplay, it was very well signposted and easy to find what we needed to be working on. The set design of the game was great and there were some nice ‘magical’ elements! Was a little bit tricky for just two players, thought we almost weren’t going to make it but we did it with around 3 minutes to spare!

This room has recently been cut down to 60 minutes rather than 90 and changed to minimum of 2 opposed to the 4 recommended before. I played with another experienced player and we enjoyed the non-linear gameplay and clear objective of the room. Smaller teams of enthusiasts or those new to escape rooms would enjoy this room.
