This room is dedicated to our dear friend and co-worker Adam Love who passed away unexpectedly in 2017. Adam loved escape rooms and we could think of no better way to honor him than creating this room. In a traditional escape room the story or theme would carry the flow of the room. However, we took it upon ourselves to simply create a permanent space in Murfreesboro Escape Rooms filled with puzzles that focus around the things he was passionate about; namely cooking, photography and board games. In Adam's honor we challenge you and your team to a fun family-oriented challenge, an escape room inspired by a great friend designed to deepen the friendships of all who play Apartment A.

For a room described as having no story, Apartment A actually had one of the richest stories of any escape room I have ever visited. This room is actually a touching tribute to real life person Adam Love, who unexpectedly passed away. Everything in this small room, from the puzzles to the materials pay honor to Adam. Walking in and seeing a full wall of photo memories of Adam, and solving puzzles that are based on his interests (which include fun board games!), I felt that I was able to peek inside his brain and learn about him. While the room is on the short and easy side, the puzzles are truly fun and interesting. I bet Adam would have been pleased that the room made it his honor was not a slouch. This honestly will not be for everyone due to the facts that you are not actually escaping anything, and also because it may be too easy for most here. But its worth lies beyond that. This is a heartwarming experience, and one that obviously meant a lot to the staff who created it. Although there is no “story,” the real story is that Adam must have been a blessed person. He had people who loved him enough to create an escape room for him, to remember him, and share his passions to the world.
Literally just an apartment room, but it feels special with the real portraits, almost ethereal

My wife and I did every room that was available at this location. We had an awesome discussion with one of the staff members about this room and we were really excited to do this room an learn about Adam. I understand what this room represents to people who knew him, I know that his family comes and visits from time to time, and a portion of the funds they make from this room are donated to a good cause. All that being said, this was a very disappointing room. I don't think it flows very well at all, and several of the puzzles were quite frustrating. When we finally solved the last puzzle and the door opened, I literally said, "that was it?" to my wife. There are some genuinely good puzzles in this room, and I love the idea behind it, but I would recommend literally any other room over this one.
Some of the puzzles in the middle are amazing, but the first puzzle felt like a sudden lurch to start everything, and the last puzzle didn't feel like it was a worthwhile way to end.
The room is nicely designed, and there are a lot of little things that tell you surface level aspects of what Adam liked, but I thought I was going to "get to know him" with this room considering how it is described on the site.
The staff here was excellent, and they're very good at running the rooms.

There are several puzzles that are great, and quite a few that are not so great.
There's no thread or story to follow. Solve puzzle, get clue that points to other portion of room, repeat.
Medium
It's not a very difficult room, but some of the puzzles are a little challenging.
High tech
Not very many mechanical locks in this room. Lots of prop related puzzles.

It is a very small room. I'd say 4 people maximum.

There are a few puzzles that would be perfect to for younger solvers.

No, but yes? There were a few things that weren't broken per say, but they proved to be difficult for my wife and I specifically. The GMs stepped in and helped out right away though, hence my "no" rating.

They share a parking lot with a few other shops and a restaurant, but there was still plenty of parking.

Apartment A is a really special escape room in memorial of a staff member. It’s very sweet, and it gives you a good look into his life. It’s a small one room experience, so don’t bring too many people!

Apartment A. This room gives you all the feels! We didn’t know Adam but after you play this room you feel like you do. It is clear Adam was loved and what an amazing way to honor his memory. Puzzles were simple and straight forward, a great room for beginners. I hope they never change this room because it feels so much more important that just an escape room!

This game made me want to cry with its poignant take on the life of Adam Love. This is a beautiful, humane tribute that still manages to be a fun game. Escape rooms are an art form and this is quietly pushing the boundaries of what an escape room can be, even if the gameplay is standard.
Easy, yet still enjoyable. Plus, the puzzles all connect to Adam’s interests.
Nothing flashy like Blind Pig or the now defunct Skinner’s Box, but still elegant in design.

This room shares a beautiful story that holds very dear to the company and their employees. We were able to understand the flow immediately and appreciate the love put into creating this room. Our game master, Matthew , was very attentive during our gameplay and really made this experience such a joy. Seeing the nostalgic games incorporated into puzzles was a very unique and warm touch. This room can be played by players of all levels.
The room uses nostalgic board games and well thought out puzzles that tie into a beautiful story that is very meaningful to this company. Smaller room space to give a feeling of closeness, that we enjoyed for the 2 of us. Puzzles involved critical thinking that can be played by all levels of players.

This was a great room for inexperienced players and veterans alike. This room is more straightforward than others, but the purpose of the room is unmatched. This room was built to honor one of the former employees who passed away. So while the room lacks in story it makes up for in purpose with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. This room featured very fun puzzles with everyday items and games that were well crafted. I would recommend 4 people for this room and most ages could find something to do in the room.

Room was very thoughtful as it is a memorial room for a former employee and as such there is no story but rather a collection of some of his favorite things. Puzzles were interesting and perfect for a beginner group.

This room is a way to share a friend's story and remember them. It was special for those that created it. And the love for the person it honors was beautiful.

Apartment A is a tribute room. It is a memorial to Adam Love, a former employee of Murfreesboro Escape Rooms. The draw of this room is obviously the story, especially for those people who knew Adam Love and his love for board games, movies, and cooking. The room is contained in only one small area, and the room is very linear. It's a great room for beginners who will need help from more experienced players because everyone in the room will be forced to work together on every puzzle. There are great generation two locks with responsive solves that have plenty of feedback.
