Christmas at Grandmas

This was a great room, had a lot of fun with our family of four, our two boys are 8 and 13 and might have solved more puzzles than me and my wife.

All of the rooms here were a delight!

Really good room, especially for a holiday themed room. Logical and fun. Our team of four really enjoyed this room. Just a little cheesy but not over the top. The TV broadcast was an excellent touch.

Rating: 3/5 - Average but likeable room, the theme was cute. Pros: ➕Cute theme and the set was decent with lots of real objects that made everything seem authentic. ➕More than a single room to explore. ➕Mixture of tech and padlocks. ➕Some neat puzzles. ➕GM was helpful when needed. Could be better: ➖Difficulty was a bit high for my tastes. ➖Some puzzles felt like time wasters. ➖Lacked some polish, for example I found a bundle of loose wires just sitting in a cabinet. ➖Too many objects in the room that weren't secured down which could lead to them being red herrings. ➖Too much unnecessary text to read and extraneous info to sort through. ➖Lock mapping could be better, too many with 4 digits. ➖Ending puzzle felt like out place, the mission was completed but there was still a puzzle left. I'd recommend 3-5 players, but it's playable with 2 or even solo. Between this and Speakeasy, I would recommend this room. Speakeasy feels older and with worse puzzles.

Fantastic game, fun experience, really have to think through your answers to solve puzzles. Filled with great games and great atmosphere!

Very good room, a lot to look at and work on. No one in our team felt like they were waiting around, everyone had something to do. Good presentation. And the puzzles were not too difficult. Really fun.

Loved this room! The theme was super on point, and we truly felt like we were in a Grandma's cozy living room. Unique variety of puzzles and funny storyline. My husband and I have done lots of rooms, and this one was pretty challenging for us... Although, we did miss a couple more obvious clues that would have been helpful early on, making it much easier. Cool ambience in the whole place and an awesome GM that only gave us clues when we asked!

This was a fun room with a pretty high level of difficulty. Our group definitely needed a fair number of hints in order to get through everything, though part of it was us just being unobservant. On the whole I had a lot of fun with this room and would love to go back! Some parts are not the most obvious what comes next, but it is possible to solve everything without fully grasping the story.
