Jurrassic Labs

My inexperienced group of 4 had a fun time with Jurassic Labs. I would describe this as a predominantly Gen 1 room with a couple Gen 2 elements. 80% of the puzzles involved finding number combinations for locks by counting and deciphering puzzles on paper which was slightly disappointing. There was at least some world-building and story included with some of the puzzles which helped flesh things out a bit! A particular puzzle involving a circuit breaker was clever and fun. There was one paper puzzle later in the game that felt overly complex which really slowed us down. Thankfully our gamemaster gave us just enough hints to get through it. We finished with 2 mins to spare! Overall, I'd rate this room as Hard as my novice group required quite a few clues throughout. Nothing blew my mind but Jurassic Labs is a solid experience with decent atmosphere and puzzles if a bit lower tech than some of the newer rooms out there.

We played several games at Green Light Escape and Jurassic Labs was our favorite. Fun unique room with good puzzles, solid storyline and a great game master. We also loved that they didn’t have a countdown clock, it allowed us to work through the puzzles without the pressure of the clock. We still finished with plenty of time left, but it was great to just enjoy the room.

Fun game, good setup!

I really liked the theme. The decor was pretty good. The puzzles were probably a bit on the basic side for our very experienced group. Mostly word and number locks. We flew through in about 30 minutes.

This was a pretty good room. Our son was excited since he enjoys dinosaurs.

Very cute room! I will say most of the puzzles felt like time eating tpuzzles, one puzzle in particular was very difficult for no reason 😭😭 Lovely family owned business!!
