Your friend Connor, an aspiring novelist has been working on a book about serial killers. He thinks he has scored his big break when he finds a lead on the Zodiac Killer. So he headed off to the small midwestern town to speak with this informant, Zed Holman, the owner of a junkyard. This was six months ago and you have not heard from Connor since. The police are not able to file a missing person's report, so you decide to go see for yourself. When you finally arrive in town, night is falling and a storm is on the horizon. Wow. I quite literally cannot recommend this room enough. This is my new favorite room out of all the rooms I have played. It was worth it enough to drive 3 hours to play this room. If youβre not from the city, make the trip.
This is my new favorite escape room.
Very original and detailed.
The game master really set the scene and knew a lot about the room and backstory

Alan was a great game master and the hands on puzzles were just the right speed for our guest who played an escape room for the first time.

We liked this room a lot! The sound and decor was top notch. The first part is fairly linear, but the second half is not. I had some mixed feelings about some of the puzzles in the first part, but the puzzles in the last third were really well integrated into the story and to me that made them more satisfying.
I think this room did sound effects and background sounds more seamlessly and better than almost any other room Iβve done. And the decor was excellent too. Both combined to give this room a great atmosphere.
We got to talk to the owner while there. Loved getting his perspective on things.

This game is absolutely delightful. The game flowed SO WELL. The ambiance was just incredible. So many little details. You can really see the care they put into everything The puzzles and challenges were very very clever. I was so pleased! Best escape room in the area by a wide margin

Fantastic set and very immersive experience. I would say 4-6 people is the magic number for this experience

This was the first escape room I did at Masterpiece Escapes and WOW! First off let me just start off with the staff they all seem to really love working there and giving you a great experience. They tell a background story before the game that really gets you immersed into it and they are with you every step of the way at all times throughout the game. When we were going to ask for a hint they were already starting to nudge us. I mean, amazing. They also come in at the end and see if you understood/figured out the whole story and if not explain it to you. The escape room itself flowed very nicely. There were some elements that Iβd personally never seen before that were really cool. There were sound effects, maybe two jump scares along with that. Multiple rooms. Lots to do and have fun with. Such nicely decorated rooms. Overall, a great experience!
Flowed nicely!
Lots of fun, special effects and immersive.
Sooo helpful! Very aware of where we were at all times just giving nudges when needed

Game was decorated well and overall fun. There seemed to be a lot of pre and post game story line that I canβt say made the game any better or worse, but did take up a bit of time. The last room was well done and fun however the ending was very anticlimactic.
Kind of, was a bit hard to follow the flow from room 1 to room 2.

This was a really interesting game. The first room was well themed and spooky with the atmosphere. The game kind of loses its story a bit going from room to room but there are definitely some βWowβ moments that are fun. Now, as much as I loved the room, our experience was greatly hindered by the game master stepping in to help us with almost every puzzle. Almost to the point where I was ready to just leave the room. I get wanting to help us to finish the room which is appreciated, but we couldnβt even work through a puzzle without the GM stepping in.
Staff themselves were friendly and inviting. But the game master gave way too many hints where it felt like they solved the game for us.

There was one puzzle that didnβt trigger something, so the GM had to enter the room to fix it.
