Scrooge's Christmas Trap

Nice to see a holiday room with a bit of a challenge. Nothing too tough, but deceptively packed with puzzles, including a bonus if you're fast enough :)

Ive done many a Christmas room and definitely enjoyed this one but would say its the weakest room CU has. Still enjoyable, just not at the same level as Wizards or Fables! We did finish early and got to do a bonus puzzle which was a treat! I love the idea of getting a little bonus if you finish early or on time.

Very fun puzzles and family friendly.

Scrooge’s Christmas Trap was our 3rd room during our visit at CUA. I went in thinking this room would be easy and not that cool, as we never did a Xmas themed room before. It being mid-December, we were in the Xmas spirit, and doing this Xmas themed room was a perfect ending to our 3-room day. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was more in depth and fun than I anticipated, with a pretty basic Xmas themed set in the 1st area, but a very cool set in the other areas. There were a good amount of keys/locks, but also some good use of technology where you get to sing and make some noise. Some fun puzzles, including one that allows people to see different things, which was fun to experience (and little kids would love). GM (Sara) gave us some nudges along the way, and we were able to experience the entire room successfully. Overall, if you enjoy Xmas, this a very good Xmas themed room.

CU adventures least cool room in my opinion but that’s relative to the other ones they have which are mostly all high production value. This one is more of a classic escape room (mostly locks). That being said, it was still fun for our group of 2. We did this one first and it was a good warm up for the rest of the experiences. They did have a couple puzzles that were verrrry similar to another Christmas room in another state. This room is a good beginner escape room. My personal #7 game out of 7 at CU Adventures.

We saved Christmas! Some unique puzzles set this game apart from other Christmas games, and a fun set was a nice bonus! 😀

If you’re wondering which room to start off playing I’d recommend this one. It’s a bit easier and you can’t go wrong with a Christmas theme!

This room was decent. Not the best I have been in, but also not the worst. There were a lot of clues. Some of them were quite difficult. Overall, a good room.

This room is on the eaiser side, but how can you resist a Christmas theme?!? I think enthusiasts will appreciate the difficulty level of the other rooms at this location. The staff is fantastic, and the rooms are super solid.

The theme of this room was really fun. A great room to do with beginners. That had some cute puzzles that would be fun for everyone.
