Welcome to Room 1912 This is the office of Dr. John H. Hills,Escape Hotel owner, and father of little Elena. She was locked up, tight — in the Attic. But — that’s a story for another time. This room has a rather astonishing history. Deep, dark, secrets —buried for generations. Long ago, John and his wife Elizabeth were expecting their first child. However — there were complications. The child was lost. They tried again. And again. And again. For many years. Time after time, their attempts to bring a new life into this world, failed. All the fetuses died. This took a toll. Losing their unborn children was far more than they could bear. But, when Elizabeth died — John wentover the edge — became obsessed. He devised a method to create the perfect child —using the souls from those he’d lost —to feed life, in to a newborn son. Now — it’s up to you. Find Dr. Hill’s secret laboratory. Exterminate his creation before it’s too late. Before it, too — takes hold of your soul. You have exactly one hour.If I were you: I’d steer clear of anything with a pulse. Your life depends upon it.

Should have not been so stubborn and asked for help sooner. 😂

First escape room ever. Very cool concept and way to get immersed into escape room. We got stumped on the pipe challenge, getting a key out with a magnet and then ran out of time on a silly, non-sensical bubble puzzle, boiling in jars of dead babies.

Escape hotel has a lot going for it, with a very cool lobby and even a live singer while we were there. However, these can’t cloak a mediocre escape room. Resurrection felt very unbalanced, with some puzzles that were fairly decent and some that it felt odd even calling puzzles. In particular, there was one “skill activity” that was horribly frustrating, and could not be hinted at but only totally bypassed if a group didn’t want to spend 20 minutes searching for a needle in a haystack. It is also a small, linear room so big groups will struggle to find things to do. Overall, Escape Hotel is a cool place to peak into from Hollywood blvd, but Resurrection is not a game I can really recommend.

The escape hotel as a venue is really fun. I’m a big scaredy cat—never watch movies etc. Came here as a miscommunication with my friend however the team was great and supportive. The room itself definitely took some bravery but you kinda get use to it. I was rlly scared at first but eager towards the end. It was definitely confusing or challenging sometimes. The puzzles sometimes don’t seem to make sense. But honestly the environment and spooky vibes made up for it.
very immersive
The atmosphere really made this escape room worth it.
The team here were so patient and kind. Initially they stay in character but then are great at vibe checking and making sure your needs are met and that you’re okay.

This one was well themed. The only thing it lacked for me was the puzzles… I feel like there weren’t enough. I did love the science pieces added into it for you to solve but other thank that… this room definitely has room for improvement. Not their strongest room.
I give this an “eh” it flowed but not too much to do here.
This too was mediocre. Specially the first room where you start out :/
The staff here is absolutely fantastic

Awful flow. Awful games. Terrible tech. Terrible concept. Worst game I’ve ever done (and I’ve done 100+).

We did the rooms at this location over a year ago and they are all very well put together. You can’t go wrong with any of them from what I remember. They all have some sort of a spooky aspect to them! For my first escape rooms over a year ago I was very impressed!

Not my favorite game here and the story was a bit lackluster, but definitely scratches the Halloween escape room itch!

Overall fun room. Some puzzles that require moving around to figure out. One puzzle my team didn’t understand at all, we had to use their “hints” in order to move forward.
Room was very linear. So there were some things that you would need to figure out before moving forward.

This room was AWESOME. I’ve done a bunch of rooms, which mostly consist of lock & key, but this had some really creative puzzles that I haven’t seen before at other locations. We didn’t escape unfortunately but that was due to our own negligence lol. Staff was terrific and welcoming. Nothing was broken. Storyline was unique. Scary at just the right moments. Will be returning for their other rooms.
