Shadow Of Cthulhu

Room needs some serious TLC. There is not a screen inside the room displaying your time which is a first that I have seen in over 50 escape rooms. Clues are given only by dancing and calling the GM on a phone inside the room. Props are worn, tattered, and duct taped together, deleting immersion. I am sure this room was great at one point, but it has seriously lost its touch. The ending was the only redeeming factor with its creativity.

Above average room for the Richmond area. The puzzles were fun and the rooms had a nice flow. The ending was unique and tied the story together well.

A very fun, atmospheric room with weak puzzles minus a few gems. The ending is worth playing for all by itself, and one of the most memorable I can recall over 70 games.

Had a great time with the family. Room was great as was the other one we have done at escape room rva.

Fantastic, cohesive room with strong themes. Several non-linear puzzles which are good for larger groups. A real showstopper ending!

8.5/10 Decent game with a great ending (though a few more effects could make it AMAZING). The puzzles were a little odd and some stuff didn’t work. Quite a few manual triggers were were waiting on after solving things. One of the puzzle just didn’t make sense. We often found ourselves going “what did we do to solve that?”.

Good theming and some puzzles that made you thinking a little harder. Overall nice.

Great room great story and amazing decorations and suprises!

Overall 10/10 experience just wish we were a little smarter. Really well designed room. We did end up asking for like 5 hints and I did scream a little when things opened up. The puzzles don’t flow very well into the next one so keep that in mind.
