El Exorcista [The Exorcist]

This room was super fun! The puzzles are secondary to the game play. Horror and themeing were very good, lots of screaming and running. Actress and stunts were great!

Game 15 of 18 of our Athens Tour - Wow! The actress is STUNNING. So many practical effects and so much physicality is present in her role. The set of the game is impressively realistic and unsettling in equal measure. The plot is easy to follow. The scares are AMAZING, and we’re not entirely sure multiple weeks later how some of them were done. It was excellent. The fact this game came out in 2020 when it holds up today is mind boggling.

super scary, very immersive, good riddles, amazing actor - A MUST SEE

My first horror escape room, it is by far the scariest experience I have had. The rooms were perfect, the riddles were good. The actress was what made the room, I honestly thought she was possessed.

I would HIGHLY recommend this room to anyone who loves horror themed rooms. The actors are incredible at what they do. Honestly they are skilled professionals in their field. This room left us on our toes throughout the whole room. 10/10 experience

This game was amazing! You literally play through the movie while also playing a very clever, and scary escape room. The actors in this room were SO impressive, really making the entire experience stand out! This game deserves its spot on the TERPECA list!

Although the room features great puzzles and is beautifully designed, this game really shines because of the acting. The actors do a fantastic job. You look forward to every scene, and they don’t interrupt the flow of the game.

8.5/10 Based off of the genre defying 1973 film, The Exorcist, prepare yourself to be front and center of this cinematic universe. As the main characters you will be doing everything in your abilities to save this poor girl from the demon that posses her. In reality, you will be doing everything in your abilities to get out alive. The acting. I mean the acting! This room can not be performed by just any actor. These are acrobats. Stunt performers. You will be wowed over and over again by the sheer physical prowess these actors have. The space and production are top notch. The puzzles are somewhat challenging. My only issue with this room was the flow. Some of the connections between puzzles could have been stronger. But puzzles and riddles take a back seat to an experience as intense and jaw dropping as this.

Despite being one of the older Athens’ horror games, this game is still one of the best. They are still original in comparison to the other local rooms we’ve done. This is by far the best exorcism room Ive done. Her performance was like a movie. The actress did phenomenal. Her makeup was great. I accidentally walked in on the actress before the room while she was snacking & the makeup was done so wonderfully that she was exceptionally creepy despite the humorous situation.

The Exorcist was a fantastic, movie-like horror experience! The immersion was great, and the room follows the feel of the movie really well without ever losing its own escape room energy. Some of the acting honestly felt unreal (in the best possible way 😄) The puzzles were good, even if I would not say they are the main focus here. The real heart of the room are definitely the actors, who carried the experience brilliantly. Nothing but praise from my side. Highly recommended for horror lovers! 👻
