Gemini Killer

We visited Enigma Escapes in Napier and played the Gemini Killer room during our stop in port. The room uses an interesting mix of physical clues and a computer-based narrative. You follow the storyline through videos on a computer while using several physical items around the room to solve puzzles and move the story forward. Overall, the puzzles were well balanced. They were not too easy, but still very solvable and satisfying. Our game master was excellent and truly a standout part of the experience. They were welcoming, helpful when needed, and clearly passionate about what they do. The room itself is fairly simple in terms of set design, but the gameplay was still enjoyable. If you’re visiting Napier and craving an escape room experience, Enigma Escapes is definitely worth checking out.
