You are travelling in the Australian outback.

You stop to help an old man to change his flat tyre, and you accept his hospitality of a cup of tea at his house as his saying thank you for your assistance.

But, the old shack he lives in is not just an old mans house. You awake from a groggy sleep to find yourself awake but trapped. What has happened, and why can’t you get out of the room? Save your team from your own Outback Hell.

Overall, I didn’t enjoy this escape room. The actual production and theme was okay, but it was just extremely frustrating the puzzles. 50 mins as opposed to an hour, but you can pay for the hour? Restricted clues but can pay for more? $25 for a live actor that’s watching anyway? Seemed a little cheap and frankly a bit tacky. Didn’t enjoy this room, but great if you like puzzles that will make you want to summon the dark lord.

This room was very lacklustre. Game lacked flow and the room was full of red herrings. While we solved the game without them, we kept going back to the locks associated with those red herrings and trying to input combos. Things were unnecessarily hidden and also broke the rules generally followed in escape rooms (such as having a clue under a chair that required us to flip the chair upside down- after being instructed not to lift the furniture). 


Our game master was lovely, but definitely overwhelmed with the amount of work he had to do. At one point we were waiting almost 10 minutes to get our hints as he was speaking to another group.
