F.E.A.R.

I was too scared to remember much of the puzzles (in a good way), it felt more of an immersion experience. I went with 6 girls, I’m sure the entire lobby heard our screams from sudden noises. It was suspense and enjoyable.

My wife and I tackled FEAR at Scram Escape Rooms (George Street, Parramatta) as our first-ever horror escape room, and we loved it! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was immersive with live actors, jump scares, banging, and plenty of tension. The puzzles were challenging and fun, with lots of spinning locks. We escaped with about 4 minutes to spare after using 3 hints. A great mix of scares and clever puzzles. Definitely recommend it if you're after a spooky escape room!

Best escape room I have ever done

Wasn't the biggest fan of this room. Found the flickering lights and pounding on the walls more annoying than scary and a few of the puzzles had mechanical issues. Staff were lovely, but the room itself felt like it might have needed a refurb. Also way to much reliance on spin locks which got a bit old. Wasn't terrible but also would not recommend.

Forget Everything and Run, hence F.E.A.R., was truly a memorable experience, with great puzzles and atmosphere due to the overall darkness and the constant pressure because of the live actor. Although it wasn’t too scary, there were a few times when we were startled due to loud noises or live actor intervention. The only downside to this room was how dark it was, making it difficult to see the puzzles and props.

Had been waiting a long time to tackle this room — said to be one of the scariest in Sydney — and it did not disappoint! The tension-inducing lighting and sound effects, plus the constant fear of an unwelcome presence, kept us on our toes the entire time (though unfortunately not as terrified as expected). The puzzles were actually quite straightforward for the most part, but the (intentional and frustrating) lack of lighting in a couple of areas made everything twice as hard. We still finished with around 23 minutes to spare with 3 people, yet felt like we could have easily been 10-15 minutes faster had we been able to see clearly.

Good theme and storyline, satisfying puzzles, 9/10.

This was my first escape room and I'm glad I opted for a scary one. The puzzles were quite good though I'd say the atmosphere and environment were the best aspect

We loved this game. The puzzles were all fun to solve, and the room was aesthetically pleasing. Ezekiel was a great game master who made it more enjoyable. We found the room logically flowed. One of the rooms was really dark, and we did find it hard to see - but we are getting old and probably need glasses 😂 We really love Scram Escape Rooms - we have been really impressed.

I highly recommend this escape room for anyone seeking a good thrill. What I really loved is that the story doesn’t just rely on supernatural elements, which can sometimes feel overdone. Instead, it incorporates other themes that make it even scarier! There were definitely moments when my partner wanted to gtfo, as it was her first time doing a horror escape room. However, she was happy to let me do the hard work while she cheered me on. We had a blast, and we managed to solve the puzzles (with a few hints, of course!). She ended up having so much fun that she wanted to come back for another round! It’s an awesome escape room, and definitely one of the best in Sydney if you’re after a thrill!
