The Pharaoh’s Tomb

One of the last rooms for us to do at Scram in Church street. Was a fun, albeit slightly smaller room than what seems to be the industry standard these days with just the two rooms. Puzzles all seemed to make sense in relation to the theme and true to Scrams overall theme there was barely a traditional lock in sight. Overall scenery and theming were nice, but you could definitely tell the room was dated. Props were on the tired side and could definitely use a little refresh. I would say a medium in difficulty, good for an average escape roomer.

There a lot of ancient Egyptian escape rooms out there, the theme should be easy to translate into a really good escape room, but most are done poorly - unfortunately this is not one of the good ones. Gameplay was okay but puzzle flow was disjointed and the props/scenery were tired. There was no real thought given to atmosphere and at no stage did I ever feel immersed in the world.

Tech only room. Great design

Did this escape room with four people over a year ago so don't remember a whole lot to be honest. Didn't have as many rooms compared to other escape rooms we've been to since then. One of the first few escape rooms we did and we enjoyed it at the time although there was nothing majorly unique or innovative, so if you've done a lot of good escape rooms this might be less exciting. I think it's more suited to beginners.
