Your business card might say ‘Real Estate Agent’, but that’s only part of the story. You work for S.C.A.R.E. (Supernatural Consultancy And Real Estate) a quirky agency that specialises in haunted properties. One day you’re sent to inspect a dilapidated and abandoned toy shop. Tucked down an alleyway in the old part of town, the shop has been empty for over 70 years. Lately, however, strange noises and lights have been reported coming from inside. Hubby and I had been trying to book this room for a while and finally got to do it today. Being one of the highest rated rooms on this app and from other people by word of mouth, we had very high expectations of this room and it absolutely did not disappoint. Our GM Fiachra was super engaging and enthusiastic! Our experience was a 10/10 overall. There were a couple of jump scares but even as a scaredy cat myself, these just added to the experience rather than hinder it. Definitely one of the best rooms we’ve done and would recommend to all (unless you reallyyyyyyyyyy can’t do spooky.. don’t do this room lol).

Did it with my two mates for a bucks party! Great fun for newcomers, not too challenging, scares were great!

A good combination of codes, keys, and sensors, I enjoyed the immersive room design and the puzzles made sense and flowed into each other well even tho you only needed to work on 1 or 2, things at a time. Figuring it out took some time. Satisfying to figure out puzzles and the room and atmosphere was dark and unsettling. the last room was especially unexpecting and surprised me, in a good way! I do also like how they set you up in the room before you start the game.

Room itself seemed wheelchair friendly but there are a few stairs to get to the building. No audio-based puzzles and puzzles involving colour had other means of differentiating things

Honestly the best room I’ve ever done. I will hold every room up to it forever. My voice was croaky and stomach was sore from laughing and screaming the next day. The best. Hint: keep your eyes open to the very end!
