Mutiny on the High Seas

A unique experience with an interesting start and some maritime puzzles, but they weren’t diegetic. It lacked atmosphere and a clear story.

Strong pirate themed room that had fewer puzzles but higher difficulty, especially in the beginning when teamwork was essential. Like their other rooms, this one had good tech elements and powerful sound design. We thought we needed a clue at the beginning but it turned out we were right and it was the tech that didn’t trigger correctly. We finished with 15+ minutes to spare but didn’t feel like we performed particularly well, though we still had lots of fun.

This was a well designed and well thought out room with some great puzzles. It was sorely let down by two of the puzzles not functioning as intended with one of these requiring staff intervention. This is the second room we've done at Xcape and reaffirms that these are good rooms that with a little bit more attention to detail, would be some of the best in the country.

Loved this room! Especially loved the very beginning!!! IFYKYK!!

Really enjoyed this room, they start you out split into two seperate rooms, with you having to communicate with your team to progress, which is a great way to test your relationship with your significant other. 😂 Great design in this room, with a couple of nice puzzles.

Great room dressing, felt very immersive. Good communication was key. Would recommend all the Xcape rooms.
