The Asylum

My team and I did Asylum this evening and we had a blast! Mika was our game host, and she made sure that we had plenty of fun jump scares during our play through! If you want to follow the chronological order of the through story of all of Dare2Escape’s rooms, then you should start with Asylum. Asylum has an interesting story and really nice set design. It is one of the oldest rooms (if not the oldest room) here, but I think it has aged well. Interesting puzzles and some creepy moments. It is fairly linear so I would not take a large group into this room as some people will have little to nothing to do. I really appreciated that there were two white boards for us to use. A lot of rooms only provide one, but it made things so much simpler having two! Can’t wait to come back again and see where the Dare2Escape story takes us!

Lots of little jump scares, which I loved because it kept us on our toes. I liked that there is a theme between the rooms. This is a great one to start with if you are looking for something spooky. We needed 3 people.

This is a scary room! The set design was fantastic and there were interesting puzzles. Love the theme throughout.

Fantastic room. Crazy this room is 10 years old as the feel is not a first-gen room at all. Very immersive, fun and on-theme puzzles just a great room. We finished with four adult sized humans and that felt like a great number for the room but two-three would work as well. Cannot rave about the people here enough and Danielle was out GM for the day and we had an absolute blast. Random thoughts: Parking is easy Food options abound near the location Would suggest a game or two as the narrative between games is very strong Great staff

Decent gen 1 room with some well timed scares. Basic puzzles and set. It was definitely creepy but not too scary. I’d give it like a 5/10 on the scare scale. It’s definitely not a must do room, but it’s fun. This is my ranking of all the rooms I’ve done at this location: 1. Seventh Room 2. Video Store 3. Asylum

Exactly what you want out of a scary room. Some great jump scares and good puzzles.

I liked this one but you could definitely tell it was their first room. It was decently scary but definitely nothing new or interesting to it.
