After doing The Collection we couldn’t wait to try another room from these guys. Skull Witch was just as amazing and the room design and vibe was much more evident than the Collection. However they are both great rooms with engaging puzzles and great storyline. Skull Witch is known to be a bit harder, but in some ways it was easier than the other room. I’d highly recommend both, Enchambered make some really fun room. Miso Trapped Approved
Great storyline, flowed very well and pushed you to the next puzzle
Amazing set design
Very helpful and painted a great picture
Great mix of both

A main room was accessed by a set of stairs. There’s no need for the team to access it but it is something to think about

The atmosphere, theming, and set design in general were amazing! Good puzzles, too. Probably ideal for two people but you can also parallelize.

Very awesome set design although very difficult for our small family only got to about 40% complete. Jordan improved our experience and knew to avoid giving us a hint after not finishing…. so we can try again! Thank you again for a memorable experience Enchambered staff, solid room! Update: went the next day and enjoyed every minute and finished with 14 minutes to spare without hints! Shelby was so gracious and welcoming loved having her as our game master.
Very difficult for our small family of 4. Difficult puzzles that require extra teamwork and independence.
Set design was incredible

This was an incredible experience. I had an absolute blast. It was challenging in a good way and I LOVED the set design and everything inside the room. The puzzles were also very unique. I would definitely recommend this room.
Amazing gameplay and flow!! So fun and challenging, which made it very fun!!! I’m super impressed on how well it flowed. Love it.
Set design was AMAZING!! Literally so good and detailed.
Koya was fantastic! Very enthusiastic and informative. Enjoyed him.

Did this a long time ago, but was blown away by it, and still think about it with some frequency. Great theme, super inventive puzzles, beautiful and immersive design. Super challenging, but thankfully we had a good crew with us.

Really fun but we felt a little overwhelmed with so many pieces of puzzles all showing up at once- it was hard to juggle it all correctly. The atmosphere was epic. Staff were very cool and helpful. Really cool experience but I would highly suggest taking a few people that have done escape rooms before as this is very difficult and it’s their hardest room. Lots of stuff to do- we didn’t even come close to finishing.

Amazing! Loved the vibe, the set, the sound, the props- top notch!
Staff were very welcoming, supportive and friendly.

Super hard. We didn’t even come close and we have been doing rooms for years.

The more the better- there’s a lot of stuff to be doing all at once and with 3 & 1/2 people (my daughter was pretty scared and didn’t get into it much, hence the 1/2) we didn’t come close to solving everything.
💩👖
It was super creepy- the sounds, the smells, the lighting, the Latin-esc freaky mumbling voices, the booming sounds, the “props” …it was so real feeling that it was very scary! You be fighting for your LIFE up in this one!

Enchambered has really good set design, and I think Skull Witch is their best (at least so far) -- if you're an enthusiast and only play one game here (but why though?), choose this one. Just stepping through the initial door sets the tone for the entire game, and the rest does not disappoint. Unlike most other games, there are multiple areas available from the start, which is both good and bad - it's good because it reinforces the feeling of entering another space, not just a converted office building, and bad because there was a lot of ground to cover right away. Puzzles felt pretty good. The self-serve hint system was a little unusual; having hints instantly available instead of waiting for the GM seems like something more games would ideally be doing (but is understandably dependent on a certain level of tech). I thought there was a good balance of content and difficulty for our team of 5 enthusiasts. We finished with a decent amount of time to spare (though we were also flowing pretty well), and there was plenty of space.

Skull Witch: An evil witch with an evil plan. Could we rescue her victim and escape her lair? Pros: We were escorted through the creepy waiting room into the creepy escape room. Our first impression (after overcoming our sheer sense of terror) was that the set design was just WOW. Once the door closed behind us and we stopped flipping out, we cautiously began to explore the cabin. The set was seriously amazing and the puzzles were all aligned to the theme. The tech in the room added to the awesomeness of the experience. We played as a group of six and stumbled our way through the puzzles. The storyline was full of twists and turns that only enhanced the experience. We were surprised on more than one occasion but for the faint of heart, there is no need to fear. This is not a haunted house type of horror experience. Cons: We really had no idea what was going on through most of the game. We were all very motivated and ready to play. Still the puzzles were much too complex for us to grasp. Hints from the gamemaster helped move us along. The timer went off well before we completed the game. Nevertheless, we left the game happy thanks to the amazing set and fun game design. Enchambered lives up to its reputation as the best in Sacramento. Definitely check out Skull Witch - but be prepared to watch your success rate fall.

I am consistently awed by Enchambered rooms and I go out of my way to do one anytime I visit Sacramento. The Skull Witch features unique touch puzzles that feel like magic and the timer and clue system are SO cool and immersive. There was plenty to do and this room won’t feel crowded even with the maximum 8 people. It is a tough room but all the puzzles make sense and man it is it FUN! The effects are so cool. Note that it DOES have stairs and also a couple of jump scares.
Unique puzzles and plenty of parallel options for larger groups.
The set was amazing! Also they didn’t use a traditional timer or clue setup so immersion was never broken.
Staff was AMAZING! We were a HUGE group doing two rooms and also had a lot of last minute troubles and the staff was so kind and extremely helpful.

You could maybe do this with four but with the amount of puzzles and the complexity of the room I think 6 is ideal. Also the maximum 8 will NOT feel crowded like it does in some rooms because there are plenty of parallel puzzles.

After being greeted by our GM we were told that this game has a 10% escape rate. So we told our GM to nudge us along so we could see the whole game. This game was very difficult for us even with over 1000 games played combined. Our GM failed to help us along and we didn’t get to see the ending. He told us we probably needed another 10 minutes to finish. It does have a great set but the puzzles are very tough so be prepared.
