Weekend De Rêve [Dream Weekend]

Dream Weekend has a cute story and some creative set design. The room really leans into its theme through distinct spaces, and each new area keeps things fresh. You can tell there's real thought behind the progression. There are some really clever physical and spatial puzzles, as well as a nice space dedicated to a familiar consumer electronics UI. That said, we hit a couple of bumps. We started the game without a walkie talkie, so our first 20 minutes were spent flailing without any way to get support or confirm we were on the right track. The radio eventually made it into the room and things smoothed out from there. (To be fair, we were running four rooms back to back, so the transitions between games were more like wrapping up discussion of the last room and moving straight to the next one.) One section of the room commits fully to the theme with a lot of sound effects looping continuously. They're great for atmosphere, but there's a fairly involved puzzle in that same space with a starting element that was hard to spot due to the lighting. Having to rework that puzzle while the sounds looped in the background tipped the vibe from "immersive" to "frustrating." An interesting room with a good concept. The set changes carry the experience, and when it works, it works well. Our issues felt more like glitches than design flaws, so your mileage may vary.

I enjoyed the set, but the puzzles were tricky, requiring extreme observation at times. The story was nice and clearly delivered

I like the unique premise and good execution of this game - the set fit in perfectly with the plot. Puzzles were fine, though I thought some early ones could have used clearer signposting - we got stuck for a while and needed a hint, which turned out to not be too unreasonable. They're also completely linear, so this would be a better game for a smaller group. My main comment about the game is it felt too short - I wish we could have spent more time exploring that world.

It was a unique experience, very peaceful music and of all the games we played at the location it felt like it stumped us the longest. We had some good "a-ha!" moments and the final space was fun!

Entertaining room with interesting twists. Several of the puzzles were very well done and the set itself was always full of surprises. We definitely got more steps in as we realized we needed previously used props that we had left behind. We didn't quite understand the story until the GM explained it at the end. Then everything made more sense.

It was super fun to play, and even though there were only two of us, we managed to finish it. You don't have to overthink this game—all the answers are really easy to find if you don't look too far.

We really enjoyed this room a lot. An extremely unique room with puzzles we had never seen before. The narrative of the room was carried strongly all throughout and made for an amazing experience. Inventive use of space and technology to elevate the room to the next level.

This was the first room that our group played at this location before playing a total of 4 rooms here. There were some fun puzzles and we enjoyed our time playing this room.

This room was a smaller one, but utilized space very well. They did some puzzles that I've never seen before. There was a frustrating puzzle in the middle, but the begining and end made up for it.

Over all good game but wasint the most impressive was great for 2 people , we were 2 and it was way enough would of been harder with to much people , was preety straight fowered but still a fun game play and fun puzzles ,
