I love the first season of Stranger Things, and stepping into the set for Missing was absolutely incredible for any fan. For the most part, the gameplay supported the feeling of the set - in particular, a common dexterity puzzle was lovingly hand built to add an unusual aesthetic to the challenge. A split team section was a little difficult for my teammates due to a seemingly fragile interface , which did leave a slight gap in the gameplay, but overall, we were constantly doing things. All and all, this was an excellent classic game, and if you play be prepared for a few true wow moments.
While not every puzzle was equally enjoyable, there were wonderful themed challenges that made interesting use of the props.
From the opening set, to what lies beyond, this was one of the most thoroughly Stranger Things games I’ve played (even more so than one I played in the actual filming location). Plus, the special effects were among my favorite I’ve ever seen.
The owner was super kind and I wish we could have talked longer!
It was dark and the sign was slightly obscured. If it was daytime, I’m sure it would not be difficult.
