Moriarty's Manor

Our team had such a great time playing Moriarty's Manor! Our Game Master Isabella was amazing - super kind, welcoming, informative, and helpful! The game was dynamic, interesting, and had great game flow - puzzles were intuitive but still challenging in a fun and exciting way, including some unique puzzles I've never seen anywhere else. I think this room can be great for people at any and all levels, so don’t be afraid to ask for hints if you’re on the less experienced side, because there’s a lot of fun in store!

This escape room is extremely strict with time, it seems you need to arrive 15min early relative to game time for instructions/safety video. Arrived at 5:05 for a 5PM time slot, but by the time the briefings were finished - it was 5:15 with 45min of game time left. Wasted another few minutes performing an “immersive” entrance act that adds no value or continuity with the game. At the end of the game, was asked if we had any questions - but could not answer how to do certain puzzles or even if there was another room left (which was an obvious “no” but I asked anyways to see what she could answer. Overall a different experience than what I am used to in the Bay Area or LA.

This room was so much fun! There were only 2 of us, so it was a bit challenging. We used a few more hints than we would’ve liked, but still escaped. Charlie was an awesome game master!

Great for an intermediate group of 5! Many unique puzzles. Thanks to Isabella for cautioning us against using a hint as we had enough time to complete the room, really great judgment!

We attempted this with 2 people and it was definitely not enough people. The room was a good difficulty but definitely more people would be helpful to complete it. Very strict on time. We got there right at our appointment time and they deducted the safety briefing time from our game time. Staff was super nice though. Glad we went and the room was amazing.

Huge thanks to Isabella for some well-timed hints to help us to the finish line! A super fun game but the better parts are all later and on in the experience, and we got stuck early on on some less fun puzzles. The end was worth it though! Very elaborate multiroom set up.

Had a group of 3. This was a great room. The puzzles had just the right amount of difficulty to be challenging but not too hard. Our gm Joyce was really nice!

Came in with a group of 3. Puzzles are creative, engaging, and thematic. Our GM, Charlie, was very attentive and gave us space to think things through. The hints she provided gave us just enough info to solve it without giving away the solution. One of the best escape rooms I’ve been to so far!

Really enjoyed this room. Good mix of different types of puzzles. Just the right level of challenging. Best out of the six we’ve done in San Diego so far.
