Curse Of The Bayou

By far the best head-to-head room I've ever competed in. We (the young ones) beat our parents in a 4v4 match, and it was exhilarating. This room is somewhat spooky, but if you aren't one for scary, don't worry, neither are we and we were completely fine. It's spooky not scary. The room was super unique in its use of technology and utilization of puzzles, in a way, that even as an experienced escape room player left me absolutely in awe. Curse of the Bayou was easily one of the most memorable escape rooms I've done in a minute. Also shoutout to Roy, who after hosting our midnight on the bayou gave us a discount to do this room immediately after. Roy was an incredible host who genuinely made the experience what it was. Game was amazing, so different from other escape rooms. The story was great and the puzzles weren’t too hard but had a good enough challenge to them.

So different from your typical escape room! I would love to see more with this type of aspect.

The only versus escape room I have seen so far. The concept is great. The puzzles themselves are okay. A lot revolves around finding and seeing the clues. The atmosphere is simple, but eerie. Both rooms are very similar, but not exactly the same. It is very important to have good communication with your team - it's probably not much fun to play with strangers.

What a wonderful twist and theme! The plot was very cohesive and loved how it had some jump scares. Roy was also fantastic! Highly recommend!

There were unique aspects of this room that I absolutely loved but the puzzles themselves were pretty simplistic. In my top 5 for large groups. With more challenging puzzles, could be in my top 5 overall.

This is a competitive escape room where you play against each other. There were 4 of us in one room and then 4 in the other room. It was eery, but not scary and there are no jump scares or live actor. We had a great time, however, this could be an overwhelming escape room as there are multiple puzzles visually. This escape room is linear, so it’s important to solve the typical whodunnit “who, what, where, why, how” etc puzzles, in a specific order. I feel that some of the props and puzzles could have been better or more straightforward because we would second guess ourselves at times as some puzzles weren’t quite working or were faulty.

It was a great experience! I’m a competitive person and this was a competitive team play and it was well done and fun and creepy but not too bad.

Really pretty room, I liked the design. The VS aspect is really cool but, when I did it my team was in a good lead but, the other guessed and beat us which is pretty funny. Puzzles were simple, not too creative but, fit the theme well and immersed me at least.

The idea of splitting up your group and playing against (and sabotaging) your friends is awesome! We had such a fun time in this room and thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles.
