I didn’t care for this room at all. I was bringing a friend to her first escape room, and I honestly felt embarrassed by having chosen this one for her first experience. The room was probably excellent many years ago, but now it’s worn out and looks like many a repair has taken place. Unity has some other decent rooms—this one is not on par with their other rooms. Like at all. We got out with 20 minutes to spare and used no hints except for one explanation of a nonsensical puzzle. If you’ve done more than 10 rooms, you’ll probably figure this one out with ease because it’s pretty dated, in my opinion.
Needs some serious updating. I get they were going for campy but it just came across as cheap. The number of items in the room labeled “not part of game” ruined the immersion.
I think our GM was having a bad day because she hardly said two words to us. Felt like she really hated her job.
Particularly interesting or different
No
What story? When we solved the room, we didn’t even know we had because it was so unclear what we were looking for.
If you don’t count riddles that don’t make sense, it’s a pretty easy room
One cool techy thing but rest was just standard (and outdated) locks and puzzles
Has a jump scare for some odd reason. Again, the story is a mob hit story so what’s with the one single jump scare? Didn’t make sense.
While it tries to be gory, it looks more like Halloween on a budget so it’s not scary at all
But the entire room is worked. Needs serious refreshing.
Physically active
Not at all
Good for folks who can’t be too physically active
Accessibility
Hearing and vision needed. A couple color-based puzzles
