20 escape rooms
Of the escape rooms at this location, Jurassic Escape is the best one. It’s incredibly immersive, and is well-suited for those of us who grew up on the Jurassic Park movies. There was a good variety of puzzle elements. The bummer was that not all of the high tech components were working properly, so the admin had to come in and manually give us some of the clues as some elements of the room were jammed. Even so, we had a really good time!

I don’t go into “Escape the Room (your city here)” rooms with high expectations. Occasionally they pleasantly surprise me and the game is actually good. “Jurassic Escape” was not one of those pleasant surprises. The set and props are well done, but the puzzles are mostly just bad, in the unclued “guess what I’m thinking” sort of way. It’s too bad: all the elements are here that you could make a really good escape room. These folks just didn’t. Not recommended.
Even by Escape the Room’s mediocre standards, the puzzles in this room are mostly quite bad.
The set is the best part of the game. It’s a solid homage to the source material.
The GM was clearly covering multiple games at the same time as we often had to wait a while to get a response to our hint requests.

Hard only because 90% of the puzzles are unclued.

The setting of a dinosaur theme park gone wrong was well done. Each room advanced the story at an even pace. The puzzles were unique to the story and had various degrees of difficulty. The only issue with the room was the feeling of a lack of attentiveness of our game master. We felt that clues were delayed and sometimes not clearly conveyed. Our assumption was that she was running more than one room herself. At the time we went there was a promotion that gave us a discount on frozen yogurt next door. That was great to have after successfully completing the room.

Stay away from chain escape rooms if you love puzzles. These rooms here are decent visual wise but puzzle wise is not good.

While this place is amazing with high quality games and rooms, we’ve heard from many other places around town that Escape the Room must maintain and 50/50 pass/fail rate, so employees will sometimes sabotage rooms and/or clues in order to make sure you do not escape. That paired with price make this place one of the least desirable places to go to an escape room. There are plenty other great, locally owned places around town with fantastic rooms and prices.
