Cartman's Escape Room

I also did Cartman's Escape Room with my friend. I don't know too much about South Park but I still found the room fun. However, if you're a fan, you would get more references and enjoy it a tad more. I have a similar critique of Cartman's as The Clock Tower. I think there are a LOT of puzzles yet they are still linear. So having more people still won't help you. There were also some stretches. However, Phillip, our guide, did a good job alerting us with clues for these instances. Because of this, it didn't bother me as much. If we failed because of the hold up of a bad puzzle, my review would change.

Successfully escaped with 4. Really fun room even as someone who doesn't watch South Park. Puzzles were well-themed. Some really fun reveals and unexpected puzzles! This and Clocktower are my favourites at this location.

Not just a treat for fans, Cartman's Escape Room is also a particularly well done room. The theme is more than dressing, and in some ways, feels similar to being the player character in either of the video games. Funny and challenging

So full disclosure, I don’t watch South Park so I went in knowing that the theme wouldn’t be for me. With that disclaimer, I really didn’t love this room. Puzzles weren’t that fun, and some of them didn’t work well

Last room had a couple puzzles that really didn’t flow well. I would recommend 4 or more people because there are a lot of puzzles.

This was entertaining as a South Park fan, but as an escape room enthusiast I have some major gripes with this room. The good: The really did knock it out the park with the theming. Plenty of references to the show, and I had a good amount of laughs while playing. Some of the puzzles were solid (especially the ones that tried to incorporate the South Park humour) and there was some pretty good tech here. I also loved the photo area they have at the end which has all the South Park characters and some props. The bad: The flow was kind of bad. The hint system is novel at first, but then it gets really old having to wait for the animation to finish before getting the hint (which was required a lot because of the lack of cohesion). Without spoiling, one part requires an unexpected piece of tech. While the interaction was hilarious, it was taking way too long to move forward because it didn't understand what we were doing. Finally, the last puzzle commits a cardinal escape room sin that legitimately caused us to fail. It was a straight up guess and check puzzle (gamemaster even admitted there's no strategy or reasoning to it) that has an ABSURD asking of combinations. That "puzzle" really soured my experience with the whole room. There was no theming behind it either so it could've just been omitted completely for the sake of everyone's enjoyment.

This escape room was better than the other rooms that they have there.

This is actually a really fun room and I had a great time doing it. There is plenty to do and you can divide and conquer, so there is something for everyone to do in bigger groups. Unfortunately I can’t support this company after seeing the way the owner was treating the staff at this place, it was incredibly disrespectful. Save your money and check out the other places to play in the area.

Awesome room for any South Park (or non-South Park) fan! So many great callbacks to the series, with a fun environment and even funnier puzzles. One puzzle didn’t quite make sense… but that did not hinder our experience! Great time.
