I was a little nervous to do this one as I know it’s meant to be one of the hardest around but we really enjoyed it! We did a 90 minute game which i would definitely recommend, usually we are a team of 3 but thankfully had a 4th member join us today as there was a lot to do, even though he isn’t experienced with escape rooms he was a great help The puzzles themselves were really good, a nice variety of things to solve, some we all worked on and other times we would split into pairs. We got out with 1m25s left so cutting it fine but there were a couple of puzzles we definitely could have solved faster. If you’re like I was and unsure if this room will be too hard i’d say give it a go but do a 90 minute.

A challenging room. We'll worth it's expert rating. We had 6 and didn't finish in 60 mins so I would recommend 90 or a very experienced team if you want the challenge

Disclaimer: I played this room solo. It is their only room that can physically be done solo, but I booked a 90 minute session since I was alone. I had a lot of fun. It is beautifully decorated, with lights and sounds to match (but if you are a picky person, some cables were visible, twist ties, etc. but this doesn’t bother me). And there are so many rooms. I would think I was getting close to the end, and another room would appear. The puzzles were great for the most part. There are a couple tedious ones, but I understand it is designed for larger groups. So everyone can have his or her puzzle to work on. It is not a horror room, but there are some jump scares build in through different mechanisms. I would assume most of these could be removed or greatly modified if you request in advance.

Amazing experience with this escape room, definitely book the longer 90 minutes experience so you can stand the best chance of winning! Also there are lots of fun elements we would have missed if we hadn't booked the longer experience. The GM was brilliant, the theme is very well executed. Definitely spooky and not for the extremely faint of heart, but nothing especially horror-y, more just jump scares and spooky elements. And no live actors :)

I usually play escape rooms as a two and we’ve always managed fine, but this one just felt a bit overloaded for a duo, even with 90 minutes. The set was great- big, detailed, and really immersive- and the puzzles themselves weren’t too tough, just too many to get through smoothly. At times the flow between puzzles wasn’t clear, so we ended up a bit lost on what to do next. I’d say this room is much better suited to a group of 4. Still, it was fun overall with a nice mix of puzzles, and the girl running our room was excellent—she really made the experience better.

It was a game I had heard a lot about before playing but I really didn’t enjoy this room. The puzzles felt really clunky and the scares in the game really hampered our ability to progress. I think in general it was just not a game flow I gelled well with, I’ve played other games here that are great but I wouldn’t recommend this. It also wasn’t helped by the host wouldn’t walk us through the rest of the game when we lost. Instead we were offered 50% off to come back, even though we’d completed 75% of the game?! We’re not locals so that wasn’t an option and it meant the game we had already found frustrating we got no closure from.

Large well themed set with tonnes to do. They should absolutely should be made clear that you should book the 90 minute room worth of content for most groups - we failed after 60 minutes frustrated at the lack of help from the GM. We would have booked a 90 minute slot if this was made clearer on the website (it's a small bit of text that you should email them to request a 90 minute booking) - I don't think rebooking to replay the room is something most people want to do but it felt like they'd almost designed it this way.

Tulleys described it as Scoby Doo horror and I think that was the perfect synopsis of the room, very eerie and designed to make you jump, but there are no live actors and it is not a horror room. If you call ahead you can book a 90 minute slot, and I would say that is essential. The room is far to big to complete in 60 minutes, even for experienced escapers. And 90 minutes gave us enough time to enjoy the game, and I am glad as it is one of the best we have done.
