Our group LOVED this escape room! We were a party of 6, a few of us had never done an escape room and a few of us had done 6-10 rooms before! We loved that the puzzles were in THEME to the room, not just random. Highly recommend. Fun flow, fun puzzles, very creative! And ORIGINAL MUSIC alongside original gameplay. WOW wow wow!!

This was a super fun room, unique theming/story and a really kind game master (didn’t catch her name). Loved all the explicitly musical puzzles they were really creative and well connected to the theme! Also incredibly grateful that their pricing is such it’s not cost prohibitive for two people - so sick of these $75pp two person escape rooms making it inaccessible to do with 2!!! The cons: I wasn’t a huge fan of one of the two large physical puzzles, and some of the rooms were a little sparsely decorated. I was also just a little uncomfortable with the rooms ending, maybe I’m overly sensitive tho, YMMV. Still wholeheartedly recommend!

A fun game to start off our US trip! The theme is on point, the puzzles (mostly) make sense with the theme, and they have done a lot of work to make this a fun experience! A bit more locks than in the newest rooms, but it didn’t bother me here at all! Some pretty unique music based puzzles, unique soundtrack and nice decor made this a game I absolutely reccomend!

Much like Scenario Escape Rooms’ cartoon room, The Mad Rapper is a clear passion project with original music and assets that showcase what the room’s creator was passionate about. There is A LOT of character put into the design, the tasks, the everything. The puzzles incorporate a lot of the scene into it, although some difficult dexterity puzzle slowed us down. Everything else is pretty intuitive, fun to play out, with a shocking final puzzle. Music is, as you would expect, so clean! I was jamming out to the rap, and I’m not even a big fan of the genre. This room defines fresh, and it ain’t no lie! If you seek a great time, give this room a try! Mic drop.

Such a breath of fresh air!!! This room is exactly what I wanted to be. The puzzles tied into the story very well and the soundtrack elevates the perfect amount of immersion.

This is one of those really special rooms where you can feel the creator's passion as you play. We love this! The theme was unique, the puzzles were logical and fun, and the flow was great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and I'd highly recommend it to others.

We liked the game a lot. The puzzles were fun and interesting. However, the game master gave too many hints too often especially because we didn’t ask for any of them. It would have been more fun to play without so many hints.

I would not recommend it especially if you will get the same GM we did. Not sure how many GMs they staff. Some very unique puzzles but if the gm gets bored, she may just non-stop give you clues back to back spamming you and not letting you solve the puzzles yourselves. This happened to us despite telling her in advance that we would rather not escape a room than escaping with bunch of unprompted clues.

The gameplay was okay… mostly original puzzles and good design. We were unfortunately not really able to experience the game the way we wanted to because of the GM. We initially let her know that we didn’t want too many hints and wanted to figure things out ourselves even if that came at the expense of not escaping but 20 mins in the GM just gave up and started hinting non stop. We would figure something out and immediately notice that she already gave a hint for what we figured out. or we would be done with one puzzle and already she had given us clues for next puzzle. Furthermore my partner was able to hear the GM at some point grunting and expressing her frustration with us and from that point he had a really hard time enjoying the gameplay. We did the room with 2 players and finished with 7 minutes left on the clock so this was all extremely unnecessary. Overall game master ruined the experience for us so beware!

great room, a fun note is that all the music is original. composed by the creater of the room. and the GM has an actual turntable that he uses throughout the experience. very unique. Gen 2 mostly. clever puzzles, good flow (puzzles and lyrics).
“The gameplay flowed well and drove the narrative forward. This was an unusual escape room scenario..“
“... very different compared to everything else out there. “
“Still, the game never takes itself too seriously, maintaining a fun, lighthearted vibe throughout.“
“The puzzle difficulty is a great mix for all room goers ...“
“Music lovers (especially old school hip hop), you’ll love this room! “
