The Dark Forest

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Really fun moments and cinematic scenes really drew us in and kept us yearning for more. Realistic and sizable set design and great puzzling without being overly scary. A really great game that you can’t miss. My favorite game in Germany, and one our groups favorites from our trip.

This was my favorite game of our trip to Belgium/Germany/Netherlands in 2025. The actors did a phenomenal job. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Another masterpiece by Escape Stories Wuppertal. The Dark Forest definitely deserves its place on the Terpeca list and I have never been so scared in my life. xD The introduction was an experience in itself. Really 10/10 for the actors. The puzzles were simple but fitting for the scenario. Anyone who has played a horror room knows that logical thinking is limited. The atmosphere was absolutely terrifying and put your nerves to the test. 10/10 must play.

Cinematic perfection, stupid fun - must play. Escape Stories is Germany’s best.

One of the best experiences in Germany. I recommend to not play in a group of more than 4 people, it will decrease the atmosphere. You got a lot of jump scares but also a good story (with a surprising ending) and an overwhelming setting.

AMAZING GAME! One of the most intense expirience I had. Definitely worth to play! Only negative point was that our light were turned off the more you get close to the end. So at the end we had only one light for 4 people, which takes away a lot for the other 3 players. At some points Ive considered it safe hazard not having the light. But I believe that might be changed.

Wow! Most intense game I've played. The setting is unbelievable, the beginning of the game felt so real and so damn scary! I'd appreciate less fog, a bit more light, less moments with actor (after some time you are not afraid that much anymore when you see it too often) and better hint mechanics though.
