Mystery of the Magician's Study

Puzzles are on the easier side. All rooms from Boxaroo have great hinting system, including this one.

This was a fun one with some interesting elements. It wasn’t anything out of the world, but definitely a fun way to spend some time. We did this room with 2 people and had no troubles. I would say this one is on the easier side though so if you are experienced, expect to get out of there with a good chunk of time left.

We had done one of the rooms here a while back and were very overdue to complete the other 2 rooms. We stayed overnight after the DroneArt show nearby, and had lots of time before The Wedding Party this evening. We were happy to see Boxaroo in partnership with Green Door Labs and mentioning each other. This room was great. There were many unique puzzles and though we've done a magician themed room elsewhere, this was completely different from the other.

Magical room! But not as magical as the other two rooms at the excellent place known as Boxaroo. I enjoyed most of the puzzles, though there was one annoying dim hunt, and one somewhat decoy puzzle that taunted us until we realized we needed to do something else first. The final puzzle was pretty fun, though it felt fast. I would recommend the other two rooms here first. But if you’ve done them too, then third time’s a charm at Boxaroo!

What a great game! This location does a fantastic job of truly immersing you in the theme. The puzzles were all very fair and used unique mechanisms to guide you through. Just a very well made room.

After we finished another room here, we had an extra hour before our flight and this room was available so we decided to stick around and do 2 in a row. I loved the theming of this room. Very fun. Some nice puzzles here. Everything made sense and flowed well. We are a team of 4 but my husband just watched this game because it was on the easier side and we didn’t want to escape too fast. We also stopped communicating and worked on things solo to make it last longer. We still escaped with almost 20 minutes left on the clock. But it was fun. Storytellers Secret is an amazing freaking room. And this one and Conundrum are fine easy fun rooms.

Really easy for 2 people: puzzles are not deep thinkers or anything; first guess is probably right. Atmosphere was nice and the customer service is always great at Boxaroo.
