WASTE OF MONEY! (both rooms at location) This, as many have said, is not an escape room. It’s an experience. You are tricked into believing you will embark on an epic journey for 90 minutes. Truth be told, you are only in the room for 45 minutes, the rest of the time you are waiting in the lobby. The room has a forced flow, don’t finish a puzzle? “Oh look it just magically solved itself, go on to the next room now..” You are quite literally pushed to the next room before you can make any real progress with the puzzle. Most puzzles had to be brute forced by trial and error as there was nothing in the room that gave you this information. A lot of the important audio cues were suppressed by annoyingly loud background noises. We left completely dissatisfied and agitated.

This experience was not worth it. They definitely need a lot more work. After the room we even ran into some team members working there recommending us a different place to go and that this place definitely needs work. We got a descent discount yet I feel it was still not worth it. If you decide to go I’d wait a year if it’s still open. Happy new year. Also if you suffer from overstimulation with dramatic lights, effects, and sounds this was obe the top. I have hopes and do believe that this can be better and I hope they figure it out.

I was so disappointed as a major BTTF fan. Puzzles were simple and it didn’t matter if solved. This is just another way for Universal to capitalize on tourists in city walk. It’s overpriced and a waste of time.

Horrible, Terrible, No good. The staff even says in the intro “this is not an escape room”. This is nothing but a money grab. If you want escapes rooms then there are far better places. If you are at City Walk and want to throw $300 away then this is for you.

Wth did I just witness??? This wasn’t an escape room at all, and it was horribly executed. It’s a museum with some buttons. One puzzle per room, and if you don’t finish they finish it for you… There are no puzzles, it’s literally a Simon Says where they give you the answer and you follow the commands. If you don’t do a single theme, they complete it for you. They stuff you in a small room with random public players in close quarters and I can’t stress this enough, there is so little to do that half of your part of 6 will literally stand and do nothing as the other 1 to 3 players are just playing Simon says with the answers they give you. If it says “press this button” just press the button…not even joking…that’s how pathetic it truly is. Universal is mooching off of the name “escape rooms” because they know of its popularity and know if they marketed it on what it really is (aka a cheaply made mini museum walkthrough with some buttons) that nobody would pay a premium for that garbage. Save yourself the time and money, go to a REAL escape room for A LOT of fun like: The Escape Ventures, The Escape Effect, Escape Goat, Doldrick’s, The Bureau, Escapology, Game Over, and more… They need to close this down, gut the place and start over. This was an abomination.

I don’t even know what to say specifically it was just so bad. Please please PLEASE do not waste your money on this, there are literally no puzzles, you push a VERY few amount of buttons and turn a few wheels and that’s it, everything else is just standing, walking, and listening. The attention to detail was the only DECENT thing but it wasn’t even all that either, I’ve done better rooms at….well literally anywhere else than this. Please I beg you, spare yourselves financially and time wise. You’ll regret going there I promise
