The Nest [Immersive Theatre]

Just wow. From the start you get sucked into this unique world and immersed in it. Please read the description of this room so you understand what you’re getting into. As many reviewers will point out, it’s not an escape room. While there are some escape room elements, there’s nothing here meant to stump you. It’s a story first and foremost, one that makes you part of it as you listen and explore. If that sounds interesting then I highly recommend this. While there may be some spooky elements, it’s not scary at all and the music really enhances the mood/emotions you feel throughout. It’s a very intimate experience and best for a small group of 1, 2 or 3 at most. My advice is to take you time and don’t rush through. Listen to everything. I believe we did all we needed to do to complete this experience in a modest pace. And we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the story they tried to tell.

Fun room with a few puzzles that has quite different mechanisms than I usually see. Puzzles were generally quite easy. The room was mostly story-driven and I wasn’t that into the story, but I appreciated the format.

Loved does not give this experience justice. This is one of the most special and emotional experiences I’ve ever done. It’s not a traditional escape but exceeded my expectations. It’s a true tour de force of immersive theater and puzzling. Loved it!!

Such an emotional and immersive experience. The room and setting was beautifully done and just felt so realistic.

Liking or hating this experience highly depends on your expectations. If you like pain, living the pain of someone else through every state of their life, smelling and hearing their struggle at every corner, then this is for you. If you are looking for having fun or a scary ride or clever puzzles, nope. Also this is quite different from the earlier Nest, as there are no live actors. You’re alone in a confined space as if everything may crumble in a second. The set production is incredible, every little detail is telling a story, every space has a character, absolutely stunning environment creation. The very last part hits you hard and makes it so real, for all of us. So… no thanks, I want to be impressed not depressed.

Like others said, it's not an escape room, but be ready for an amazing immersive story! If you take it seriously, it will touch your heart and make you reflect on life.

This show/game is such a special experience. I could nitpick this game and make a lot of little criticisms but honestly that feels pointless cause in the end that can’t take away the dark beauty of this experience as a whole. Can’t really say anymore without spoiling. (I guess I will mention this experience might not be for everyone as it’s very listening-heavy and story-focused, though I personally don’t think it’s so different it’s inaccessible to most escape room players)

Thank you, Liv, for hugging me before I left the gate alone. I have been to the Nest twice; the first was with my bf, and the second was by myself. Many, many tears every time. This is an experience I would never wanna share with anyone else again (besides my bf, and I miss you so much...). Just let the good memories stay there. Thank you, Liv and Hatch escape.

Not an escape room. More like an immersive experience that was dark and a little depressing to be honest. Not my cup of tea and definitely not for the claustrophobic.

Simply one of the best immersive experiences I’ve ever had — combining interactivity and beautifully haunting environments to slowly and methodically unravel an unexpectedly moving story. It uses the techniques of an escape room to uncover fragments of someone’s memories found in their personal effects strewn through a mysterious storage unit. It’s wistful and sad and beautiful. Hard to describe, but I was absolutely shattered by it, left me in tears. Not really an escape room, per se — but don’t miss it, it’s incredible.
