Dearly depart into a foreboding estate, drag your body to the dead center of the Portrait Chamber and watch as the walls begin to stretch before your eyes. Climb into your waiting Doom Buggy and embark on a shivering journey into an unearthly realm. The disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the cadaverous dwelling—home to grinning ghosts and other spectral surprises. Glide past a rattling casket in the conservatory. Head off to Madame Leota's spirited séance room. Float by the Grand Ballroom and its waltzing apparitions. Take a spin through a cemetery where the spirited residents regale you with song. Beware of lurking hitchhikers—these phantom pranksters may try to follow you home!"

Such a fun, spooky attraction at the Disneyland Resort! Not necessarily “scary,” but this is a dark attraction with dim lighting, but lots to see and enjoy. This is always a classic to ride during the holidays (Halloween, Christmas time) because they will transform this attraction into The Nightmare Before Christmas theme!

I wouldn’t necessarily say “scary,” more like “spooky” because it’s about a “Haunted Mansion” and it is a dark/dimly-lit attraction.

Loved the set design, artwork, props, and characters. Very immersive and spooky, yet fun with lots of magical moments.

What can I say? It’s the Haunted Mansion! It’s the most iconic haunted house ride of all time, and the California location is by far the best one. This attraction never feels dated and it’s arguably better during the holiday season with the Nightmare Before Christmas theme.

Classic, of course. Sometimes my penchant for chaos gets the best of me and I end up rolling with mattress actresses who have “cum slut” tattooed on the back of their legs at the precise eye level of small children just learning to read. I’ll get better.

This is technically a haunt but I’m also confused as to why this is up for review. It’s a ride at Disneyland and granted, it’s one of my favorites but it’s not scary at all.

An absolute classic with so many puns to see while you wait in line (for probably hours) unless you have fast pass. But the ride itself is great! They change from season to season depending on what disney is hosting. Always a drop by when I'm in the park.
