Wow. I leave escape room reviews every time. This one has me lost for words. Memorable barely explains the experience, but like the reviews all say, this room is worth a trip from another country, It’s #1 for a reason. Like your best bottle of champagne pop the cork and do this one on a very special occasion with your favorite people.

What can be said that hasn't already been said? This game is #1 in the United States for a reason. It far exceeded my expectations (which were extremely high) and was absolutely positively among the best escape rooms I have ever played. Many enthusiasts have told me this "isn't a real escape room." Don't listen to them. This is absolutely an escape room, and it is one of the best you'll ever play. Well worth the trip to Houston to experience!

Celebrated my 500th room here. It was a great theme and I really enjoyed our actor.

We really enjoyed our experience! From the beginning tarot card reading through the completion of the escape room, we were immersed in the experience. The actors were fantastic and the room aesthetic was very well done! It was challenging and fun! This room is a must!

This is one of my most favorite experiences of all time! I don't normally expect to be deeply emotionally invested in an escape room's story, but this one tugged at my heartstrings and made me want to cry. The actors were incredible! There's so much to do in this room, and would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Most immersive rooms I've done so far. Immersion starts from the second you walk in the door. For beginners this might be a little confusing. Detailed story and narrative. Live actors that really immerse. Non linear room. Puzzle very on theme.Good diagetic and mimetic puzzles. Flowed well. Hint system was very clever and effects were top notch.

I came to love escape rooms through immersive theater. I’ve travelled to London and Portugal just to see immersive theater shows. This room was a highlight of all of my experiences with immersive theater and the best escape room I have ever done. The place making from the moment you walk in, from the signage, the scents, the quirks of the lobby let you know this is something special. Once the experience begins, you feel wholly a part of a world that both feels surreal and believable at the same time. Strange Bird was kind enough to create a custom booking for us on a Monday afternoon and Madam Daphne was a joy to meet. The entire experience felt like a dream, the perfect amount of puzzles that made thematic sense and evoked the magic of Harry Houdini himself. I cannot recommend this room more, the emotion, care, precision and creativity poured into this experience elevated it beyond a perfectly executed escape room and into an immersive experience that I truly felt a part of from start to finish.

Strange Bird is an experience. There is a pre-show before the escape room that pulls you into the world, the escape room, a climax, and even a denouement. While I enjoyed the escape room, the pre-show was my highlight. It was so much fun. Super immersive!
