I really enjoyed my time playing Espionage from The Cipher Room! I would consider it to be more on the easier side of escape rooms and would recommend beginners and families to try it out! Even seasoned enthusiasts will have a kick playing this room. Furthermore, it's not scary whatsoever so it appeals to everyone!

From the get go this room was amazing. Our game master, Maddison, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere inside the room was perfect for the setting and not too overwhelming with sounds or lighting. The flow of the game and puzzles was intuitive and difficult enough to make us think about it but not get stuck for too long at any one puzzle. An overall amazing experience, we can't wait to go back and do the other rooms!

Did this room 4 years ago. No interesting puzzles, no impressive atmosphere, no high-tech and mechanicals. And they even copy idea of puzzles! I don't need to leave bad reviews if this is just a normal experience in a normal room. But I check their reviews and I do believe this room is overselling.

From the get go this room was fantastic, full of a huge variety of puzzles that flowed immaculately, absolutely no notes. The mechanics of the room were so exciting and kept us entertained from start to finish. Every puzzle was entirely different from the other keeping us moving forward in new and exciting ways. Came out of this room feeling on top of the world, as our first of 3 experiences of the day at Cipher it set the bar incredibly high. Our Game Master Ryan (great name) was wonderful and tolerated our bullshit with a smile. This room is an absolute MUST.

Such a killer room when it came to general flow and variety, my friends and I blitzed through this one with the biggest smiles on our faces. Spy-themed rooms always run the risk of being very drab/document-heavy experiences but Espionage never had that issue, a truly classic, perfectly designed escape room. Props to our GM Ryan who was a great sport and made our stint at the Newtown venue awesome.

The Cipher Room welcomed our team back after our last visit in July '23, marking my personal count of 23 rooms and our team's 20th. Despite being Cipher's oldest room, Espionage showcased timeless appeal. From friendly gamesmasters to a uniquely aesthetic venue, everything seamlessly fell into place. The room's design, filled with content, followed a non-linear structure, catering to our team's diverse preferences. Espionage featured an engaging mix of puzzles, ranging from deceptively simple to those requiring creative thinking. The blend of low and high-tech elements, cleverly concealed to align with the 1940s theme, added an extra layer of intrigue. The craftsmanship behind the puzzle pieces and props was evident, reflecting the considerable time invested in designing and creating every element of the room. Once again, we left Espionage and The Cipher Room as very satisfied customers!
