Incredible props and room design. Puzzles had a variety of difficulties, but not too hard. Best for groups of 3 - 5.

Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime, or rather, an adventure in a whole different time! Join forces with Intrepid and explore the Tipsy Tailor, a secretive shop from the 1920’s! Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Tipsy Tailor seems to host more than just your average suit and tie. Some say it was involved in a bootlegging ring, with the uptight owner at the helm of a hidden speakeasy that produced many tonics despite the era’s prohibition laws. However, there seemed to have been at least one tonic gone bad. Poisonous, even! The Intrepid Adventure Society needs your help uncovering the secrets held both within and past the Tipsy Tailor’s walls. Will you and your team be able to procure some under the table product before it’s too late?

This is a fun room with a lot of unique puzzles and a cool theme. With 7 people we were mostly still busy but you could do it with 4/5.

Very fun room - we had 4 but I can see this room supporting even more. There were a lot of puzzles with a combination of locks and more technical puzzles. Fairly immersive.

God, I wish I remembered the name of our host, because she was an absolute delight, and really elevated the experience. I was apprehensive about completing an objective-based game, rather than an escape-based one, but after all the positive feedback I’d heard about the original version of Tipsy Tailor really made me want to try it anyway, and I’m so glad that I did. The array of challenges was so, so impressive - there really is a little bit of everything in this room, and it felt intentionally haphazard, rather than messy. I’ve loved the aesthetic of Intrepid’s rooms before, and this just continues that trend. Definitely a tight room - we had two players and completed all objectives by the skin of our teeth, so I honestly think a group of 2-4 is more than fine. Maybe 5 if you need someone else to bounce back and forth, but I think more than that would be way too cramped. Loved, loved, loved this room.

Unique twist on the speakeasy game. Full game of challenges, but seemed somewhat adaptable for newbie groups. Would highly recommend.

Despite the common Prohibition theme, I appreciated their extra attention to added detail for their thematic puzzles.
