Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLWe had lots of fun. A bit more of an old school mechanical room but the puzzles were all fun and we even got in a few Ah Ha! Moments when we realized something we overlooked at first. We also played their latest room The Ladder just before. If I had to only pick one I would go with The Ladder but I thoroughly enjoyed both games.
45 Lampkin LaneConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLWe played on Moderate mode with a live actor and it was lots of fun. Maya was our Game Master and was able to make the experience so much fun. Will be recommending to others who enjoy a scary escape room.
UndercookedSaber Room EscapeEscape roomIRLA fantastic room for all skill levels. Not what I would call an “escape room” as the goal is to get as high of a score as possible as opposed to needing to complete a specific objective that you could fail. This room has the ability to meet all players at their skill level and even though I have already played it I would consider coming back to play again with a new group of friends.
Hijinx at Joffre ManorNerdy by Nature Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSo far, my favorite room with Nerdy By Nature. Ciara was our Game Master, and they were a lot of fun and very nice to our group. Worth a try if you are in the area for sure.
The Fun HouseCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI played the room with my family (group of 5) we all had lots of fun and the room was non-linear so there was plenty for us to spread out and do. There were a large number of physical locks and puzzles but it didn’t really take away from the experience. This is my second room at Cross Roads and I will definitely be coming back to finish the set!
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - Rancho Cucamonga [prev. at San Bernardino]Escape roomIRLPlayed Special Ops: Mysterious Market and had a BLAST! I will definitely be coming back to do the other rooms. Set design and story was all around fun and engaging. I quickly felt I was in the zone. Ended up having so much fun that I kept loosing track of time. The room has a good combination of technical (puzzles that work with sensors and buttons) and mechanical (puzzles that require physically shifting or unlocking something) puzzles. They even had multiple puzzles that blended the 2 so you could feel and interact with the different pieces of the puzzle. The room was beautiful and looks like a lot of time and care went into designing it. TL;DR Amazing game and experience will be coming back for the others!
The LadderHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLLoads of fun. Less of an escape room and more of a choose your own adventure book almost. Would absolutely recommend giving it a try. There are multiple paths all with different endings along with upgrades and modifiers you can earn along the way as you climb the corporate ladder. The room is designed so you play the entire time so you goal isn’t speed but high score. We managed to get just over $1.2 million dollars by the end with the “Messiah” ending.
S.A.S.H.A: Home Of The FutureWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLAn enjoyable room. For those who have done escape rooms before and can work together well, you are sure to make quick work of this room. Our Game Master, Grace, was friendly as well!
Starship | Interstellar EscapeWild Goose Escapes - FullertonEscape roomIRLLots of things happening in this room. Also has some optional objectives to do if you have the time, which will require some good teamwork if you want to get them all done. The room itself is a little tight, so I would not recommend it for large groups, but it is lots of fun for a group of about 4. Our Game Master, Natalia, was very fun.
Witch's CauldronQuest TavernEscape roomIRLNot a particularly tricky room, but enjoyable nonetheless. Our group did fun voices, the entire time, to really get into the theming. Like with most escape rooms, you get out what you put into it. Of the Rooms at Quest Tavern, this is not my favorite, but it was still quite enjoyable. This room would be best suited for players who are newer before tackling some of Quest Tavern's more challenging rooms, like Through the Sugar Glass.
