Black DragonEscape Room LAEscape roomIRLThe Black Dragon was so much fun! I've played rooms with similar themes, but this room had enough differences to still be entertaining. A few of the puzzles were a little underwhelming and not super clear, but most of the puzzles were great! The ambiance, decor, and props were very on brand and made the room super immersive. The objective was fun, the ending was super cute, and the game master was wonderful! We were a little late because of traffic and parking, but they were very accommodating and we still had enough time to escape! Love all of the rooms here, will definitely be back to play each one!
The LadderHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLWe just played The Ladder for the second time and it has to be one of the best escape rooms. The immersion is incredible, we truly felt like we were climbing the corporate ladder! It's very high tech and allows you to make different choices including characters, costumes, and what choices to make which affects your gameplay! The games are very fun and can be done multiple times by multiple people without feeling boring. The puzzles are pretty difficult, we want to play again and spend most of our time on those! The gamemasters and janitors are incredibly helpful and in character. Highly recommend all of the rooms including Lab Rats, The Nest, and The Ladder at Hatch Escape and can't wait to play The Ladder again.
The Bakery - Grandma's LegacyBeyond the Lock Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe just played Beyond the Lock's room The Bakery - Grandma's Legacy in Hemet in Riverside and it was such a nice surprise! The theme was unique, the puzzles were very thoughtful and the room was immersive! I'm about to hit 200 rooms and this was one of my favorites, highly recommend if you're in the area!
Zoe: RebornEscapade GamesEscape roomIRLThis version of Zoe is the scariest escape room we have ever experienced and we have played many of the scary rooms out there. The puzzles are creative and thoughtful enough without requiring too much effort because we were very scared almost the whole time. The area is huge with multiple very different rooms with many cool set aspects that led to the incredible immersion of feeling like we were actually in the spooky situation, or at the very least, in a scary movie. The actor Logan, gamemaster V, and owner really made the experience as incredible as it was, kudos to them!! Highly recommend!!
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLGood room!! Very immersive!! Some of the puzzles were great and some didn’t seem to fit as well and one of the last puzzles didn’t work at all which was a bummer. The game master was also kind of impatient when part of our group came after us, they weren’t even late they were still on time but the game master seemed to be in a hurry.
Time Machine - CLOSEDNot Another Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAmazing, one of a kind, great idea and execution!! The storyline and puzzles match so well and the game master work is incredible, the immersion is so real I questioned myself multiple times!! Absolutely must do!!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLSo so fun, great unique idea, awesome tech in this room!! Great company with lots of good rooms but if you only play one make sure it’s the playground!
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLPossibly my favorite room ever. Such a unique premise and great actors, puzzles are a little easier but the actor and other aspects of the room make this a must do!!
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLMy favorite room ever!!! Crazy immersive, puzzles clearly went together, great sense of humor and amazing story with puzzles that totally fit! Highly recommend and hope they do other rooms!
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLGreat room!! Very immersive and amazing videos!! Puzzles were good too!! We had a larger group of people and some of us were standing around a bit but we really enjoyed the room overall!
The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLSeriously a must do! Love that everyone starts separated so they have to do some puzzles themselves and still work together. Great immersion, love the costume element and the extra box element for enthusiasts.
The Mad RapperScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAnother must play, very unique theming and great puzzles I’ve never seen before, can’t wait to see more from this company!
ExcaliburMindTrap Escape Room - MurrietaEscape roomIRLOne of the best rooms and companies!! The puzzles are a little on the easier side but the room is so immersive and there are some amazing puzzles and puzzle ideas I’ve never seen before. Great clue system and employees, highly recommend!
Hunting Dracula [Formerly "V"] - CLOSEDLocked AdventuresEscape roomIRLAbsolutely amazing!! Slightly scary atmosphere but not actually scary. Lots of puzzles which is why the room is longer. Puzzles are awesome and clue system is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Great ending too
The Silence 113th RoomEscape roomIRLThis room is great!! Some of the puzzles were a bit of a stretch but the actor and game master as well as the immersion are so great!! Super fun overall experience and incredibly nice owner!
Red Giant - CLOSEDQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLAbsolutely amazing room, possibly the best room out there! So immersive and incredible puzzles, multiple aspects I had never seen in a room before!
The StudyTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLGood room!!! Definitely scary, had some great elements! Actor was great but some puzzles leapt logic. Our game master also did not give great hints. We were stuck on the last puzzle for 15 minutes and were basically doing it right but I feel like the game master did not want us to escape so they could keep their escape rate low.
The Elevator ShaftTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLThis was a good room!! Not a lot going on at first but very scary and great set! Do recommend!!!
The BasementTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLThis room has potential but is designed like a funnel so you don’t really solve anything unless you solve everything which does not allow for any moments of success unless you escape. Reschedules are not allowed and the rooms are public so we played with other people who had never played before and made it very difficult to play the game. The ambiance and actors are great but that’s pretty much it.
Amnesia - CLOSEDQuest Room - Culver CityEscape roomIRLAmazing room!! Really flipped the story element on its head! A couple puzzles were unnecessarily frustrating but really enjoyed this room overall and highly recommend!
