I’m almost angry because I don’t know the next time I will ever get to play a game this incredible again and I need to play more games like this right now. This game was the perfect balance of humor and horror for me. We were laughing and interacting with fun characters for parts and running for our lives at others, but laughing afterwards. Incredible setting and incredible GM named Michael (I think). I can not think of a single thing I did not enjoy about this room and I tried really hard to at least find one, lol. I will say though that your group needs to lean into what this room is looking for you to do. Have fun with it and enjoy yourself, don’t put up a brave front, just go with it. This is probably my favorite room of all time and I’m so happy I got a chance to play it. Also, I played the latest time slot which I think made it even better.

There were a couple of things I didn’t care for and a couple I really liked. I didn’t realize there were going to be live actors in the room until after I booked it (which is my fault, not the establishments), so I was not in the proper mindset, which I feel did affect my enjoyment, again my fault not theirs. I would recommend.

We were also given an item right away when we entered the room and told we wouldn’t need it until the end of the game, this was not true we needed it for the first puzzle. Took us almost 20 minutes to figure out that we had been misinformed. Some of the puzzles were really cool but some of them felt like whoever designed it was trying to be a bit too cheeky. However, I would recommend this one because I do feel our GM ruined the experience and there is actually a good room here.
The CastleCountdown GamesEscape roomIRLThe castle that was built for this room is the star. The puzzles in the room are ok, a couple of them are a bit too long. This room is worth doing just to walk around the castle.

Cellar EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLIt is an ok way room, some of the puzzles were a bit older style puzzles. The room is very large and does have some cool aspects to it. I wouldn’t do this with more than 4-6 ppl. This room is worth playing.

Some of the puzzles in the room were pretty basic but it also had a couple of interesting ones as well. Room was a bit too dark to see everything. Overall, a good room, sad to see the location has closed.
Curse of the Mummy - CLOSEDSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLEnjoyable game, had some cool sets. The puzzles were all pretty good. One of the first rooms I ever played. This is the room that sparked my interest in escape rooms.

Live haunted houses but I’m not a fan of animatronics in escape rooms that you can see the whole time. I played it when it first opened and they had some bugs in the puzzles they were working out. Still, it was a fun game.

Got better in the final two areas but there was still a couple of problems. This room did have one puzzle I really enjoyed and was the only puzzle that leaned into the time traveling theme.

A Knight to EscapeThe Escape EffectEscape roomIRLThis is a good game, I didn’t feel like this needed to be a 2 hour room. One of the very last puzzles though really needs to be replaced. This is a good room that could be a great room with some slight tweaking. Also, your group will be split for the majority of the game.
Fright Before Your EyesThe Escape EffectEscape roomIRLI don’t really want to thumbs up nor thumbs down this one. This is an interesting concept but it doesn’t really feel like an escape room. This room needed a lot more puzzles and bit less of the alternative direction the room seemed to go for.

The ArchiveDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLI love this company and this was a decent room. Puzzle-wise this is one of the weaker rooms at the location. Set-wise it was excellent. There were some good puzzles and a couple that bogged the game down. I have a lot of live for Dare 2 Escape and probably would recommend this room for newer players.

This one just suffers because the industry and this location have evolved from the early versions of escape rooms. I’d only recommend if you are a first time player or feel like you need to complete this location.
