Top Secret MissionEscape OK - VaughanEscape roomIRLRoom was meh, the story was almost non existent and the puzzles were pretty boring and lacked direction. Other than that the technical aspects were good and there’s one room that completely carries the room.
Hong Kong AfterdarkOmventure - MarkhamEscape roomIRLRoom is great, storyline is intriguing and keeps you hooked all game if you choose to follow it. Set is amazing and the puzzles were fun. However there’s 1 game puzzle that’s almost impossible to complete without prior knowledge on how the specific board game works (even the game master couldnt figure it out without a cheat sheet) and one of the last puzzles is time based and the equipment doesn’t register the inputs every time so it’s more luck based then skill. Other that then it was a very enjoyable and challenging room.

SeveredReady Set Go Adventures - MississaugaEscape roomIRLProbably the best ready set go room, the story is the best I’ve done so far out of all their rooms and the puzzles fit the theme of the room well. My group set the all time record (humble brag) and we all agree that one of the best rooms we have ever done. Also the staff is fantastic and so welcoming.

Rest Easy MotelThe Escape TheoryEscape roomIRLRoom was fun but a few puzzles had a bit of a lack of direction. The optional live actor was fun and definitely had me and my group shaking in our boots the entire time.
Zodiac CafeEscaptopiaEscape roomIRLThe room was a lot of fun. It really fit the theme of a zodiac cafe and there were plenty of unique puzzles. Some were very easy and others including the final puzzle were, I wouldn’t say hard but slightly challenging. Overall it was a great beginner room and a great first room for me and my group at escaptopia. ALSO THE DOG IN THE LOBBY MAKES ME WANT COME BACK! HE WAS SUCH A GOOD BOY
Mystic ForestEscape OK - VaughanEscape roomIRLMystic forest is a good beginner room but it’s set carried by its first room. There’s one very unique puzzle in that first room which carries the room entirely. There is a bit of a lack of direction in the room that maybe a small sign on the wall could fix but other than that it was an enjoyable room, but super easy. My group escaped with 28 minutes left and we probably could’ve gotten the record if we weren’t messing around in the last room.
Adventures WonderlandThe Escape TheoryEscape roomIRLRoom is definitely beginner friendly but it was a lot of fun. There’s one aspect to the room that’s very fun and if you do this room you’ll know why! Staff was very nice and helpful and I’ll definitely come back to do the rest of the rooms!
Defend the Magic AcademyOmventure - ScarboroughEscape roomIRLRoom was decent. I HIGHLY recommend ONLY 4 players. However there is one puzzle that’s a 9 step memorization under a special niche that’s almost impossible to complete. (It was so hard that the game operator had to come in and do it for us as none of our group members know the specific niche 💀. Other than that the room was fun and definitely for the magic academy theme.
The Red AdmiralOmventure - ScarboroughEscape roomIRLVery cool room, the theme was great and very high tech. One part of the room was slightly broken and it cost us a bit of time. Other than that it was very fun.
Cat BurglarThe Escape TheoryEscape roomIRLThis is a new place that opened up a few months ago. My friends and I wanted to try it out to see if it’s another exquisite establishment to add to our escaping addiction. It pleasantly was! The customer service was great and the main lobby was cozy and slightly creepy but in a cool way. The room was also quite fun and had a good atmosphere, it was very lock and key instead of technological but sometimes that’s good too. There were many puzzles and our group apparently got the second fastest time of all time which is fun to know. Overall it’s a great room and id recommend to all escapees.
The ArkEscape Games CanadaEscape roomIRLAnother very run room. It did feel like I was underwater and the technology in the room was great. The puzzles were definitely some of the hardest escape games Canada has and it was a good challenge.
