Geisterjäger Brandon Darkmoor [Ghosthunter Brandon Darkmoor]
The Room
Escape room
IRL
This immersive experience had me laughing, dancing and startling. Our gamemasters Helena and Markus were amazing and we had a great time experiencing this room. You definitely can't call it an escaperoom in the classical sense, but nonetheless - it was pretty amazing. The riddles that we had to solve were perfectly incorporated into the whole story and room itself. The set design and special effects are great! You can really feel the love and work that was put into this room. The room loves surprising you and there wasn't one moment I could recall that I was feeling bored or annoyed. Amazing room and definitely recommended!
Geisterjäger Ernie Hudson und der Zoo des Todes [Ghost Hunter Ernie Hudson and the Zoo of Death]
Skurrilum
Escape room
IRL
I played this room with a coworker (we're gamemasters) and a friend. This is one of my absolute favorite rooms I've played. - The set design is immaculate. Skurrilum really has an eye for amazing set designs. - The riddles were really easy, but still fun - The atmosphere was great. We were able to dive into the story perfectly and immediately - The gamemaster was really nice. She helped us dive into the story a lot - The mechanics of the room itself were well thought out and worked perfectly All in all: One of my favorite rooms. We had the time of our lives. 5/5. Definitely recommended (and already did recommend it to a lot of people).

This is the escaperoom I work at. I'll rate it as objectively as I can. I played this room with my coworker to test it out before it got opened to the public. - The set design is absolutely amazing. The details are crazy and everything got designed with a lot of thought and love. - The story is interesting, makes sense and you're able to dive into it immediately from the beginning. - The riddles are something else. Some of them I have never seen before in other rooms and they are a lot of fun. The members of the group have to really work together to get through it. - Since we were a testgroup, one of the big riddles didn't work, but nowadays it works perfectly without any problems :) - Hints were well-timed and understandable. The riddles itself aren't hard, but since there are a lot of riddles, it does take some time to get through and you have to do a lot in a minimum of time - It's really immersive and makes a lot of fun All in all: Even though I work at the company, I can objectively say that this room is really amazing. We haven't gotten any bad review to this room yet and it's the best room my bosses have ever created. It's a lot of fun and I'd recommend it every single time. 5/5.
Geisterjäger Ernie Hudson und die weinende Frau [Ghost Hunter Ernie Hudson and the Wailing Woman]
Skurrilum
Escape room
IRL
I played this room with my coworker (we're gamemasters) and three friends. - The design was amazing, like always when it comes to Skurrilum - Sadly, one riddle was broken (and according to other people, it was also broken when they played, so they never replaced it) and another one didn't work, because the gamemaster did not reset it the right way. Both riddles had to get skipped because of that. - The riddles are quite boring. They fit the topic, but are not that fun to solve and way too easy. - The experience was okay. - 5 players are way too much. 2 or 3 are definitely enough, otherwise half of you won't have anything to do most of the time - The gamemaster didn't seem motivated. We didn't feel welcomed, to be honest All in all: Not a room that I (or the rest of my group) enjoyed. The other Erwin Hudson room is a lot better. Some special effects were cool, but that didn't change the fact that the experience wasn't as good as we would have liked it to be. 2,5/5
Der Fluch Des Neptun [Neptune's Curse]
Hidden in Hamburg - Rickmer Rickmers
Escape room
IRL
Great room! The set design looked amazing and we had a lot of fun playing this one. The riddles aren't hard at all, but involve the whole group. Since the escaperoom itself is on a ship, the story is really well integrated into the room. Our gamemaster was friendly, too. All in all, we had a great time and I'd definitely recommend players to not skip this room. A group of 4 might be the best to play this with, since the room actually isn't that big to begin with.
The Golden Phoenix
Miraculum
Escape room
IRL
My least favorite room of the three rooms MIRACULUM has to offer, but I can see the potential. As someone who isn't a fan of Harry Potter at all and just can't wrap their heard around the whole "Magic" thing - the story just wasn't for me. I also can't really decide if I would call it an immersive experience - because it really isn't. But it's also not an escaperoom - you only get a few, short riddles to solve, while most of the "challenges" are more about searching, finding and saying the right things. The beginning also was quite long. But, to also state some positive aspects about this room, the set design is really pretty. I enjoyed looking at the room itself and it's not like I didn't have fun. Our Gamemaster Gina was great, too. In the end, it's definitely more of a room for Harry Potter fans and if you're like me and don't enjoy the whole topic of magic - it might not be for you. But just for the set design and the vibe of the room itself - go and try it out if you get the chance to.
Guschis geile Grotte [Guschis Seedy Cellar]
Skurrilum
Escape room
IRL
I played this game with three of my coworkers (all gamemasters) and two friends One of my favorite rooms to this day - The set design was immaculate, again. Skurrilum knows how to design room and make you feel like you're actually at the place where the story tells you you are - Definitely for adults. If you're fine with sextoys and other typical Reeperbahn-stuff, you can play this room - The gamemaster was really friendly and also funny. Loved talking to him and he played his role perfectly - The riddles were easy, but logical, fun and fit the theme perfectly - The experience itself was great - 4 people would be great for this room, due to how the game starts All in all: one of my favorite rooms to this day. Makes a lot of fun and we didn't want it to end. The way they give the hints (they showed us at the end since we didn't need any hints) is really funny and fits the theme. Definitely recommended to anyone who's fine with the topic of sex, alcohol and Reeperbahn. 5/5.
Frankenstein
Miraculum
Escape room
IRL
My absolute favorite room out of the three rooms MIRACULUM has to offer. Our gamemaster amazingly played his role and threw us straight into the story. The set design is immaculate. It fits perfectly. Frankenstein is a perfect mix of immersion and escaperoom - something that is quite hard to achieve in my honest opinion! I had lots of fun from beginning to end and enjoyed every single moment. Definitely recommended!
Alien BBQ [Alien Grill]
Illuminati Escape
Escape room
IRL
This escaperoom was a lot of fun! The set design is really nice and the riddles are short, but fun. Sadly, it went by pretty fast and was a bit too easy for my taste. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the whole experience and liked (almost) every second of it!
Time Travel
Big Break Hamburg
Escape room
IRL
I work at this company, but I played this room before I started working there. I'll be as objective as I can be. I played it with three of my friends. - Story is alright. Sadly I'm not a fan of timetravel stories/escape rooms in general - The room design is great, but might need some work, since the room hasn't really changed since 2017. The details still look nice though - The riddles are everything between easy and difficult. There are a lot of different riddles and I had fun solving them with my friends - The hints were definitely needed and helped us a lot while going through this room - The gamemaster was friendly and motivated - Since I'm not into timetravel rooms, it was a little harder for me to dive into the story but due to the design and details of the room, it got easier as we went on All in all: Since the room is from 2017, it might need some renovations, but it still holds up well and the groups have a lot of fun playing it. It's not easy (quite difficult actually), so 4 players are the perfect amount of people to get through this. 3,5/5
