A Pirate's CurseEscapology - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLGood basic room. Nothing too fancy. Good for beginners or for those that want to increase their room count. Nice theming and appropriate puzzles.
Antidote: Chemical Warfare - CLOSEDEscapology - Lake DeltonEscape roomIRLThe game is fine. Pretty standard stuff. There's some red herrings in the room that I don't care for, and the room is a bit blah, but overall, a fun room to do.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - GatlinburgEscape roomIRLFun room with some cool puzzles and neat tech. Pretty linear game, so if 1 thing holds you up, you won't make much progress.
The TerminalEscape Room BrightonEscape roomIRLSolid game. Little tricky with the first puzzle. Somethings weren't quite working properly, but we chalked it up to the room being new. There's nothing mind numbingly new or exciting here, but its still fun nonetheless. Game masters were always super nice and helpful and apologetic when some of the tech wouldn't behave properly. They stopped our time and came in to adjust.
The BoogeymanGatlin's Escape Games - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLYet another clever room from the amazing folks at Gatlins. We have now completed all of their rooms. As always, game hosts and staff were amazing. Friendly and attentive. Game was well thought out. Clever puzzles and engaging storyline that progresses nicely. Definitely on the spooky side but our 9 year old did fine. I would definitely not do this room with more than 4 people. This is by far their smallest sized room and it would just be tough to have any more than 4 people at the same time. I would also say that this room is the easiest of the their rooms so it makes a great starter room if you've never played before. Fans of "The Office" should keep their eyes open for some hidden and not so hidden Easter Eggs...
AlchemystEscape Room Wisconsin - Green BayEscape roomIRLRoom was fun. Nothing earth shattering new or different. Good beginner room. If you've done rooms before, you have have no issues here. Pleasant set design. As a side note, because we got out with more than 15 minutes left, we got to play the bonus game which was very clever and provided some great extra fun.
Class of ’84Escape Room Wisconsin - AppletonEscape roomIRLA good time. Lots to do and some fun puzzles. Like most of the rooms here, there's nothing earth-shattering new or super cool. But the rooms are fun and well done. Good for beginners and medium level players. There's a variety of puzzles in this room which was nice and everything made sense. There were no logic leaps and the puzzles made sense with the theme of the room.
The Evolution of GamesEscape Room Wisconsin - AppletonEscape roomIRLA very non-linear game, which is good for larger groups. You can definitely divide and conquer. Lots of locks though, but they are fun. Each puzzle is basically a mini-game of the board game its based off of, which is fun. We wasted a good chunk of time of 2 separate puzzles, one being somewhat physical and the other being somewhat confusing. We were apparently on the 2nd to last step to escape and we ran out of time. Kinda bummed we weren't allowed maybe one extra minute to finish, but I guess rules are rules. We even started before our time because we always show up early. I'm not marking them down for that, it was just more of a bummer than anything to be so close and not make it. Still a fun room.
UFO: Alien Voyage - CLOSEDEscape Room BrightonEscape roomIRLNice set design. LOTS to do that kept the three of us pretty busy. Good mix of different types of puzzles. One puzzle was broken and we were told ahead of time about it and they handled it well. We were stuck about two steps before the end and ran out of time. Gamemaster was nice as always.
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLGood, challenging room with nice sets and spooky story. We enjoyed the puzzles as they made sense to the room. As always at Escapology, the Game Masters were great.
The Haunting: Secret Of The MansionSmoky Mountain Escape GamesEscape roomIRLUgh, not sure how to rate this... I didn't HATE it. But it wasn't great either. This is the second room we've done here and had mixed reviews about our other experience here. I will say this, the game masters and staff are wonderful. And while we didn't finish the room in 60 minutes, we were close so they gave us an extra 2 minutes to finish. I guess my main issue is the puzzles. I've never had to ask for so many hints in a room before. One of the puzzles was easy enough to solve but it made no sense thematically to the room. The sets and lighting/sound were great and set the mood and the story was well done. I just can't get over the puzzles that to me and our players, we had difficulty with.

Host Your Own Escape Room - LondonTalking TablesEscape roomTabletopThis game requires one person to host, which means they need to partially set up the room and hide clues. They'll still be able to participate, but they'll know where stuff is hidden already. Secondly, this is a game based in London and requires knowledge that you would only have if you either live in the UK or are VERY familiar with London and their culture. They claim the game has an "interactive ending". Logging onto a website to enter your answers to see if you were correct isn't interactive.....
Magee Mafia TakedownMystery Escapes Escape roomIRLWhile there isn't a ton of tech in this room, there is a lot of love and surprises. Game play and flow was very straightforward. There are a lot of key and lock and combo lock puzzles and most of the puzzles are similar to ones you've seen before, but there's enough cleverness hidden inside to make you smile.
The Legend of AtlantisGatlin's Escape Games - Downtown GatlinburgEscape roomIRLWe've done just about every room at Gatlin's now and this is my 2nd favorite here so far. Its challenging, but the puzzles make sense and flow nicely. Its somewhat linear at times, so don't come with a lot of people as they might get left out.
Wizard QuestWizard QuestEscape roomOther A great step up from the previous location. Very large and fun to explore. Even after 2 hours, we were still finding hidden passages and places we didn't see yet. The UI on the tablet is easy to follow and the quests are fun. I love that it saves your progress so that WHEN you come back (not if) you can continue from where you left off. Live actors will be able to point you in the right direction should you get a little stumped.
