The CabinNumber One Escape RoomEscape roomIRLRoom was pretty fun. The atmosphere was cool. My wife and I finished the room in 42 minutes. The negative to our experience was the customer service. The walkie talkies had trouble and it took 3-4 tries to ask a question. After we completed the room, it took us into a deserted hallway. We didn’t even know we were done at first. After a minute or so, an employee approached us and said we had 18 minutes left if we wanted to try to find the bonus puzzle. We went back inside, completed the bonus puzzle in 2 minutes, and found ourselves back in the deserted hallway. A different employee approached us after a minute or so and asked if we came out of the room. We told him yes, so he handed us a 50% off card to book another room, then walked away and said “Have a good evening”. It was a very underwhelming and boring end to the experience. We will not be doing another Black Cat room.

Wonder LandTrapped! Escape Room - StrongsvilleEscape roomIRLOut of the 50 + escape rooms I have done, this is easily the worst experience I’ve had. I booked 2 rooms back to back and asked for a refund on my second room after we completed this one. Between the messy, linear, boring, attempt at an escape room, I didn’t want to continue this horrible experience. This is definitely nothing like the other TRAPPED escape rooms I have done. The very least the owner can do is fix the broken pieces and props and clean the room up a little bit. I could forgive the mediocre puzzles, and homemade decorations, but to leave a door handle half hanging out and ripped posters on the walls, etc., it’s completely uncalled for and unacceptable. I understand they charge a little bit less than normal escape rooms, but that is completely justified after this experience. I just pray that somebody sees this review before going and saves their time and money. I wouldn’t go back and do the rest of their rooms if they offered them for free. My heart hurts for this place. GM was awesome though!
JumanjiTrapped! Escape Room - StrongsvilleEscape roomIRLLet’s make this really simple. Both rooms my party and I did at this location were terrible. I wouldn’t go back if the rooms were free. Between the broken props, way too easy or way too vague puzzles, very linear, gameplay, and lack of technology, this was such a waste of time. I really wish I would’ve read reviews before getting excited to do an escape room while I was out in Ohio on vacation. This location, and both rooms I did here are at the very bottom of my list when it comes to fun escape rooms. Shame on me for not doing my research before going to this place.
