Reign Of Terror - CLOSEDReign of TerrorHauntHaunted houseFirst time checking this place out and I was impressed — it was lot of fun. Not as scary as I’d hoped but definitely scary for most. There were some cool props, and a lot of expansive ones too. You will recognize a handful of animatronics from a certain Halloween shop but that’s okay because I think they’re cool! There were some really spooktacular performances from some of the Scareactors…. I want more of that. There were also some surprising moments of the timing was just right. The set design and fx was really good! I was in awe walking through all the spaces. Cant wait to see more of them in the future!!!
No More Late Fees 2 - CLOSEDThe Haunted HarvestHauntMazeHaunted houseThis was my first time checking this place out and I was impressed! This haunted corn maze is part of Frosty’s Forest and it cost $30 (30 tickets) for the maze. Don’t get this confused with the normal corn maze that’s open to everyone else. The first thing I noticed while waiting in line was their pacing. I was happy to see the gaps they were leaving between groups which makes for a better experience. I’m not sure I understand the story but that’s okay. It was exciting walking through the dark parts of the corn maze. The Scareactors were hidden really well! You should definitely add this to your Halloween to-do list!!!

PsychoEscape Room Era - AnaheimEscape roomIRLAdd this room to your Halloween season itinerary. We had a lot of fun but there’s definitely room for improvement. The puzzles made sense. A device was not working properly and slowed us down but we were able to resolve the issue thanks to our host. There was an exciting moment that took me back to The Hide which was cool. The interactions with the actor was the heart of the experience. Liza did an amazing job playing different roles and also as our host. There was a task we completed but it was unclear how we solved it 🤷🏽♂️. This room could use more puzzles and more AC
Blood ThirstChronos Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI’ve only done one other vampire themed escape but this was the better one. The puzzles made sense and gained a lot of momentum at the start. There’s just one puzzle that took long to solve — tech was responding slowly. Not a scary room, just a spooky theme. They had tall ceilings, it would be cool if they built up. This was the first room we did with Chronos and it was a good first impression. I wish we were able to take our team photo in the room. We understand why but there are ways you could position people to hide any spoilers in the room. It’s a good room, so show it off :-)
The Silence 113th RoomEscape roomIRLAdd this to your Halloween season itinerary!!! Creepy vibes the entire time, probably because the building is truly haunted. The puzzles made sense but were tricky because of the atmosphere and one flashlight. Also communicating quietly adds another layer of difficulty. Really cool element in this one. But definitely needs another dose of fright!
Jurassic IslandChronos Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was my least favorite out of the three we did this round. We spent 20 minutes on the first puzzle not realizing a tech was not working properly. Once the issue was resolved this puzzle still took a long time to complete. Had to do some trial error first which chomped a big chunk of our time. The rest of the way was a smooth sail, quickly making up our time. There is an awesome surprise worth checking out! They don’t take your photos in their rooms which we understood but sometimes people look forward to the team photo showing off what we escape in the background.
Voyage Of The Sea SerpentChronos Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was a fun pirate room. The production was fun. The puzzles made sense and gained a lot of momentum. There were moments you had to quiet your group to listen to the crew mate - they told you what to do next. The last part could be better executed.
Election DayAppleseed AvenueEscape roomIRLSaved this for #200 and it was worth the wait, the drive, and every penny. My cheeks are still tired from all the smiling. Kip was our host and was also the puppeteer who brought the characters of Appleseed Avenue to life. During the game, you split into two teams: the detectives, and the medical examiners. At first it feels like you’re battling head to head but you’re also working together. With some techy equipment, the tasks were explained really well. It’s like playing Clue. Don’t miss out, check it out. Election Day is ranked high and now I could see why.
The Ghost Of MentryvilleArcane Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLCelebrating my 200s with the Ghost of Mentryville (Sam) and we had a blast. And what a unique experience! You’re with the Ghost the whole time helping them remember what happened. What you uncover will shock you and some choices will be made! There’s some really cool locks, maybe some belong in a museum cause they’re that old! The craftsmanship is amazing! We all left feeling “WOOOWW!!” Don’t miss out check it out!
Killer Klowns From Outer Space [Season 2026] - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI wanted to like this but it was just alright. I love Killer Klowns but it didn’t really meet my expectations. It’ll probably do better as a scare zone.
Dead Deader Deadest - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI was probably most disturbed by this one because I’ve experienced many visits with funeral homes. Definitely creeped out with some of the props, set design, and smell. It really brought me to those rough times. I’m not hating on the house. It’s a cool original concept from Universal
Stranger Things 5 - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis was first house of the night and it did not disappoint. I finished season 5 not too long ago so a lot of the scenes that were reenacted were fresh in my mind so it was exciting reliving some those epic scenes. The pacing was great for us. We didn’t feel left out.
Sinners - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThis was one of favorite houses this year. Mostly because of the glowing eyes and some of the iconic scenes played out. The pacing in the maze could be controlled better. There were moments that stopped the flow but it was not too big of a deal. If this one comes back, they should build it somewhere else in the park.
Ozzy Osborne: Prince of Darkness - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseThe was a good tribute for Ozzy and it was a great production. The scaractors had a lot of energy and their pacing was really good. I felt like I was always in the right place at the right time!!!
Hellraiser - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI grew up watching this so seeing this in the flesh was pretty awesome! The pacing with the talent was really good. I felt like they were ganging up on me. I don’t scare easily but I did love the attention.
Evil Dead Burn - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI haven’t seen the movie so I’m not sure what was going on. This was probably towards the bottom of my list but it wasn’t bad. The Scareactors were good as usual but the scenes just felt too redundant. Also the mask for the male Scareactors could be better.
Killceañera - CLOSEDHalloween Horror NightsHauntHaunted houseI really like this one. Classic revenge story!!! I love the music and all the different monsters she summons to kill her bullies.
Kapow KomicsCloud EscapeEscape roomIRLPretty fun room. It’s non-linear which can be a bit challenging figuring out what goes with what. You could easily be solving something with wrong information. We figured it out eventually and it all makes sense. Some satisfying solves! You don’t need to know anything about comics to play this. It does get a bit warm in there with the 3 of us, we were sweating at the end.
ElixirExodus Escape Room - Anaheim Hills, CAEscape roomIRL#198. We did this room when it was themed to Frosty and most of it was familiar and we still had fun. There’s a whole lot to do in a small space. Ambient lighting made it immersive and was enough for us to see. The puzzles were pretty straight forward and easy for us enthusiasts. This is a great room for first timers! I just wish it expanded into other rooms, I wanted to keep going.
