Our 11 year old usually dislikes escape room and find them overwhelming but loved this. Teenagers were very happy and engaged and adults loved it too. Linear puzzles and moderate difficulty. Very doable for everyone.

Nice balance of search, physical and mental puzzles so there is something for everyone. Non linear, but not overly complicated so still approachable for all expertise levels. Several unique elements that really add to the experience. Expert teams may find quite straightforward, but that is not too easy it is easy. Very good fun.

Crimson Lake MotelBreakout Newton StreetEscape roomIRLThe room gives all the icky feelings you would expect from this theme. While there are some interesting visual and puzzle elements, they are somewhat overshadowed by the volume of drawers locked with a padlock. This would be less of an issue if the gameplay was less linear. As it is, one comes across information that is evidently a solution, and just pops it into the next padlock on too many occasions to reach the highest rating. The puzzles that are non-padlock related are relatively simple. Much of the difficulty comes simply from being unable to see due to themed lighting, but using phone torch is apparently allowed, so somewhat defeating the purpose. Storyline sort of works, but some of the solutions seemed a bit arbitary. Overall a fun room that I world recommend doing with a small group, not with kids

SpellCraftTulleys Escape RoomEscape roomIRLCompleted 70% on first attempt with 4x adults and 2x kids, then escaped in 45 mines on second attempt. Very well themed with many rooms. A mix of strait forward puzzles, and some that require a little thought/searching. Main challenge is that this is a huge set, so plenty to do, although each room is relatively small and more than 4 adults would be a squeeze, with not everyone having something to do at any one time. A nice mix of puzzle styles and the magic concept is well executed. Fantastic room that is worth travelling for.

Largely linear puzzles of up to moderate difficulty, but plenty for younger players to engage with so fun as a family. Challenge is primarily volume related. Theming is not the most detailed, but more than made up for with thoughtful elements that add to the gameplay. A nice range of puzzles so although lots to do, it is not repetitive. Great fun, worth travelling for to enjoy.

A great room for less experienced players. Some quirky elements and puzzles that require good teamwork which is always good to see.

Puzzles all relatively straightforward, such that 11yr and 9yr old could actively engage, but still plenty interesting for adults. Enough non linear elements to keep everyone busy, but without losing track. Nice mix of physical and cerebral puzzles. Excellent fun.
