Haunted HarborThe Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLEscape Ventures took over this location from the old Escape Goat. If you played their old sailor-themed room, this one is very different so feel safe to book it! They expanded the space a bit. Fun room with a mix of tech and mechanical puzzles. Really good storyline too! There are some flashing lights, so be warned if you have epilepsy or are sensitive to such things. They didn’t bother my issues, but if I wasn’t mediated, they would have. The game master warned us of this, but I thought it would be nice for others to know prior to booking. The lights are more than just the usual T&C “we have some flashing lights” warnings and they cannot turn them off here.
Bigfoot: Secrets of The SwampThe Escape Ventures - Orlando I-DriveEscape roomIRLFun game with a great staff! Part of the set is familiar to the old Bloodshed Bayou, but all the puzzles and gameplay were different. They did a really great job!
Cornstalkers: Lost in the MaizeThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLAnother winner from Escape Ventures! Our host, James, was AMAZING! The entire experience was fun and really felt like a northern fall fest. Without spoilers, the only thing I wanted to be different was for there to be fewer nudges. (They do these to keep the game moving though, so I get it!)
Camp Harvest Moon: Prank Wars '92Dare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLFun and easy game, definitely just has the space for 2 people or 3 really small ones. Puzzles connect well and it had that nostalgic feel that Dare 2 Escape does so well!
Cremlocke ManorLockbustersEscape roomIRLNice room but there were two broken puzzles that we had done correctly but didn’t work despite this. We wasted 15 minutes and two clues on it and almost didn’t get out as a result. The mechanics need to be updated. The room was nice and the storyline was fun, but the brokenness sort of soured the mood.
Csi: Murder At Bar NoirMichigan Escape GamesEscape roomIRLVery nice staff and owner, and I’m told this is a great game for the area! Would have liked a few more connections between puzzles and locks, but it’s ok. It also didn’t feel like there was enough to do for four people, so I recommend a group of 2 if you’re into escape rooms. We could also hear people talking through the walls, so it was a bit distracting.
Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient ExpressEscapology - KissimmeeEscape roomIRLThe game was fun (and the staff was amazing), but the storyline was a bit off. You could solve the room without actually feeling like you solved the story. You also need to be very precise with the magnets.
Batman™: The Dark Knight ChallengeEscapology - KissimmeeEscape roomIRLVery cool room in terms of theme! Some aspects were a bit wonky to work, but once fixed, were great. The game host was fantastic!
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - KissimmeeEscape roomIRLFun, easy game for Scooby-Doo lovers! Really straightforward puzzles and an easier room.
Liberty FallsRiddler's Escape - OxfordEscape roomIRLFun game with some difficult puzzles that are perfect for people who love escape games. Everyone was constantly doing something and working on some multi-step puzzles. There is a lot of code breaking in this room! I recommend!
Detective LockwoodRiddler's Escape - OxfordEscape roomIRLNot sure why this has some bad reviews, but this was a fun game where all of the puzzles connected perfectly! The storyline was familiar but had a twist. Puzzles were well done! I recommend!
Downfall of the DonWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLFun new room at Will to Escape. The storyline is exactly as the description says and it’s easy to follow. The clues are all straightforward without any frustrations. Always recommend this place, but the parking is in a garage and can be difficult to grab a spot during the weekends.
Two Can Keep a SecretThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLNew fun game with a great storyline. Our game master Chris stayed in character with us, which was fun. Overall, recommend!
Echoes at Murder HeightsThe Escape Ventures - Orlando I-DriveEscape roomIRLGreat new game with an amazing game master (Steven) for us! The room had some unique puzzles (that took us a little longer to figure out as we’re out of practice…) that were completely on point for the story. Definitely recommend! There were some great jump scares if you’re into that! Definitely recommend this location. We’ve played most of their games and are always treated very kindly.
The Haunted Hotel [prev. Escape Artist: The Final Seance]The Great Escape Room - OrlandoEscape roomIRLFlashing light warning. (One that gets triggered with movement frequently and others that can be avoided.) There are a lot of Houdini games around, but this one really did it well. There was a unique beginning to the game that ended with what you would expect from a Houdini room. The puzzles were also the perfect mix between mechanical and technical, with some nice riddles thrown in. Overall, I liked this more than the other Houdini rooms I’ve done.
Mountain Top MurdersThe Great Escape Room - OrlandoEscape roomIRLFun game with a spooky feeling. Our game host (Christine) was great! A nice mix of traditional and mechanical locks. Clues and puzzles all make sense! Parking is street or paid garage, so arrive extra early.
Jewel Heist [prev. Jewel Thief] - COMING SOONEvasive Escape Rooms - Kissimmee [prev. Edge Escape]Escape roomIRLFun game with some newer puzzle twists I hadn’t seen before. Our game master, Dustin, was great! Really liked this one!
Sir Ripple Sugarton’s Candy FactorySplit Oak Axscape GamesEscape roomIRLWonderful game and worth the drive from Orlando! Our game host (Leah/Smash) did a great job asking us if we wanted clues or nudges without interjecting. The game had a lot of interconnected and clever puzzles that kept us guessing. The final puzzle was so much fun too! Definitely recommend!
The Killer BasementEpic EscapesEscape roomIRLSmaller room with limited visibility. Some of the clues were a bit of a stretch logically, but you can eventually figure it out. The atmosphere was nice, but not as fantastic as some larger locations in Orlando. Worth the try if you’re visiting Cocoa Beach and like escape rooms.
Wagon Train: End of Outlaws' Reign - CLOSEDLocksmith Escape GamesEscape roomIRLReally well done game. Puzzles all connected easily and the atmosphere was fantastic. We were just a group of 2 and made it out with 20 minutes to spare. Our game host, Maria, was excellent. It was hot in the room, as the mall doesn’t pipe in air very well, but we brought a fan and it was fine. Plus we got some cold water at the end.
