Bigfoot: Secrets of The SwampThe Escape Ventures - Orlando I-DriveEscape roomIRLThis room was so much fun! There were five people in our escape group, which was perfect. There were a generous number of puzzles that we could split up and solve simultaneously, so no one was left out. I would highly recommend The Escape Ventures based on their creativity alone. Cierra was our game host, and she was fantastic. She brought such great energy to the game. We can’t wait to come back as they open more rooms! For this particular room I would note a couple of things: 1) This room is a 90 minute experience, so it is more expensive than the 60 minute rooms. 2) There is a live actor in the room at times, they will remind you of this before the game. 3) Make sure to wear shoes with laces. My husband actually lost his shoe at one point. Admittedly, it was hilarious.

One Eyed JackTrapped! Escape Room - Las VegasEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed Operation X-13 so much, that five of us stayed behind to take advantage of the 20% same day re-booking discount. This time we escaped from One Eyed Jack. Loved this room as well! So many unique elements to the puzzles. While I wouldn’t label it as a difficult room, the excellent flow of the puzzles and story made it absolutely worth doing! At least one person needs to be able to crawl (though we all chose to crawl to get the full immersive experience). We had Buggy as our game host, and they were great. Thanks to the entire Trapped staff for making our experience extra special!
UFO: Go For LaunchThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLUFO: Go for Launch was an excellent escape experience. The varied use of technology was really well implemented into the theme of the room. While the overall story of the room was not as compelling as the Possession at Haddon Heights, I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and humorous escape experience. My team certainly experienced a lot of laughs. I can't wait to work with The Bureau again!
Jewel ThiefEdge EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was the second room I have completed at Edge Escape, and I must say that I was very impressed! This was an excellent room. The puzzles fit really well into the heist theme, and showed a level of high creativity. It can accommodate larger groups, but I wouldn’t recommend a group larger than 7 (we went with 8, and I would say one person felt that they didn’t contribute much). If you have not been to Edge Escape before then you need to try this room! I would say it’s an intermediate level of difficulty, but the unique tasks and puzzles make it worth an escape even for more advanced groups.
Possession At Haddon HeightsThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLSuch a fun room! I can honestly say it is one of my favorite rooms in the Orlando area. We had a team of five people, and everyone was able to contribute to our victory in some manner. The set was top notch, the use of technology was well thought out and innovative, and the storyline was chilling with a healthy dose of dark humor. This is also one of the creepier rooms that I could actually recommend for young teens. The subject matter of the story is not too graphic.
The Society of Adventures and ExplorersEdge EscapeEscape roomIRLMy group and I had a fantastic time escaping at Edge Escape! There were eight people in our party, which made finding a room for us to tackle a bit trickier. Not only could Edge Escape accommodate such a large party in a single room, but the design of the room lent itself to splitting up to solve puzzles so everyone got to be involved in the victory. We escaped from Adventure “S.O.A.E,” and we will definitely be back to take on the other rooms soon! Thanks Hailey for helping us have such a great experience!
The AsylumDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLMy team and I did Asylum this evening and we had a blast! Mika was our game host, and she made sure that we had plenty of fun jump scares during our play through! If you want to follow the chronological order of the through story of all of Dare2Escape’s rooms, then you should start with Asylum. Asylum has an interesting story and really nice set design. It is one of the oldest rooms (if not the oldest room) here, but I think it has aged well. Interesting puzzles and some creepy moments. It is fairly linear so I would not take a large group into this room as some people will have little to nothing to do. I really appreciated that there were two white boards for us to use. A lot of rooms only provide one, but it made things so much simpler having two! Can’t wait to come back again and see where the Dare2Escape story takes us!
Haunted HouseEscapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI have escaped at Escapology before, but I really wanted to share my latest experience there. My husband and I went with some of our coworkers to tackle the Haunted House room, and it was a fantastic evening! The room has quickly become one of my absolute favorites. The set pieces in the room were really well done. Each area we opened and explored offered a good variety of puzzles that allowed a group of 5 to stay involved at all times. The storyline of the room was engaging, and the only remotely negative thing I could say about the room is that I wanted it to delve into the backstory of the Haunted House even more because I loved what they did give us. I would note that there is a puzzle that requires the use of an Ouija Board to solve it. I don't recall seeing that warning on the site. We had people in our group willing to use it so it wasn't a problem, but if you are like me and won't touch one, you have been warned.
