Dream MachineMad MachinesEscape roomIRLAnother fantastic and whacky experience from Mad Machines! A truly unique and thought provoking story whilst still being a bit bizarre and very unexpected! The puzzles were really well themed and sets were fantastic. I really enjoyed all of the interactions with Arturo. Well worth completing during a visit to Milan, or coming out for the day especially to do 😂
Operation Hideout - Jewel PursuitBeverley BreakoutEscape roomIRLThis was a fun and unique twist on a well saturated category within escape rooms - being the police a retrieving evidence from a robbery. We played this on hard mode which included a few extra challenging puzzles that were so clever. Everything was themed greatly and we had a lot of fun particularly in the final room racing through puzzles against the end of the clock. Though had a few ‘rookie errors’ of taking a while to find very obvious things 🤦🏻♀️ Fran was a fantastic host and we felt really welcomed and had a great chat before and after the room.
Runaway TrainXscapeNowEscape roomIRLI had so much fun getting into character and immersing myself in the Wild West theme. This room had a great mix of puzzles, which were perfectly on theme, though on the easier side. There were also a few puzzles I’ve never come across before, very creative. Katlin was a fantastic GM, we felt so welcomed by everyone at XscapeNow and had a fantastic time swapping recommendations. I’m really looking forward to returning to complete their other rooms!
Sultan's SecretXscapeNowEscape roomIRLA MUST if you are in the area (or even if you aren’t)! Thankful for the ability to use facilities before starting the room- as there is a cold start. Absolutely loved the cold start it really added to the experience. The set was fantastic, with a variety of puzzles. Interactions with the actors made the room even more fun and hilarious! Pree and Maddie were great fun. The ending is fantastic; very unique and enjoyable. Though this room would still be amazing without it. Can’t wait to return and do their other rooms.

Including a wide range of puzzles which were fun and added to the immersion. Absolutely loved the facade, entry and opening moments. This room gave moment after moment, with twists and unexpected turns! I’m sure this will be nominated for TERPECA and do well later in the year! A must do room in the Barcelona area (with some tough competition around)!

The story and puzzles were incredibly intergrated. I’ve never been moved to tears in a room but this gripped me emotionally and had me enthralled. The GM and everyone involved was fantastic and made this so special.
Exodus Elements Escape Rooms [prev. Action Room Escape]Escape roomIRLThis is a must do if you are in the Barcelona area! Great story and impressive set design, clever and unique puzzles! Pol was a fantastic GM in character from the very beginning and remained in character when send help at areas we got stuck at! This room was easy to find - just a short walk from the Metro station. Same location as Mutant X-Perience so easy to combine these into one trip if you wanted!

I did the smell puzzle and had THAT smell up my nose for the remainder of the room - will you be brave enough 😂🤢
Dino DeadlockM4 EscapesEscape roomIRLVery impressed by the set and how much they’ve squeezed into the space! Our GM was lovely! Puzzles were largely very good though one particular puzzle had us pulling our hair out for quite some time (not working out what to do, but actually doing it).

We completed this as an experienced team of 2 and it was doable. We were constantly busy and challenged! The rooms at Tempo are surprising and so much fun! Noel was a fantastic GM, and we are looking forward to exploring other rooms he has recommended !
