La Cathédrale Oubliée [The Forgotten Cathedral]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
The Cathedral is, and I speak for my whole group and I'm sure many others, more than just an escape room. We finally made the decision to try it out after having it recommended by every other escape game that we had been to, and we were floored. From the beginning to the end there was never a dull moment. An incredible set and sound design made for a complete immersion that made us feel like we were living an adventure movie. Hairs still stand up on my neck when I think about one part, but I'll leave you to experience that yourself.
L'Île perdue de la Reine Vaudou [The Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
It's almost hard to call this experience a room. We had a blast. We got a little stuck on one puzzle at the beginning and because of that we felt like we had to rush a bit on the rest, but we still very much enjoyed the game. The scale of it was amazing.
Armoire a Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
What a time to be alive. Ur group is all big fans of fantasy themes, so this room certainly appealed to that. It was theatrical, but that didn't take away from the puzzles at all. More than that, it made them feel more urgent. I can't think of a single puzzle that didn't directly contribute to the immersion. An absolute must do for any fans of fantasy and immersive experiences.
Le Grand Immersia Hotel [The Grand Immersia Hotel]
Immersia Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
This one got to me. It was an incredible set with a very immersive feel to it. Some of the puzzles nearly fried our brains, but we managed against all odds to pull it off. I could see this being a challenge for smaller groups, but as a group of 4 we were well set.
Opus Memori
Ezkapaz
Escape room
IRL
This room was excellent. It seriously checked the box of immersive and that is the number one thing that we go for. The puzzles weren't the most difficult we've encountered, but the energy and atmosphere gives that sense of complexity and helps add a sense of urgency. One particular part of this one blew my mind, and I absolutely loved, but I'll let you find out what it was yourself ;) My recommendation as the third game to do at The Manor (major bonus if you can do them back to back, recommended order The Barber, The Cadavera Case, Opus Memori)
Le Dernier Arrêt - V2 [The Final Stop - V2]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
This was an awesome expérience. The puzzles were nice, but the main focus was the immersion and the storyline. We were big fans of the intégration of the live actor.
Rain Corp.

HUGE thumbs up for immersion on this one. The hint system was immaculate, and the story definitely grips you and holds you interested throughout. We really enjoyed this room and I really recommend not overlooking it.
Les Quatre Sorciers et l'Ascension du Seigneur des Ténèbres [The Wizard Four and the Rise of Lord Thulsa]
Escaparium West Island
Escape room
IRL
This room was fun, but in our minds didn't live up to the first in the series. The way the magic was presented was very fun and cool, but felt like it was forgotten and then haphazardly reintroduced partway through. Worth playing, but if you're expecting the same level as the first one, you may be slightly disappointed.
Le Cirque Des Âmes Perdues [Circus of the Lost Souls]
Immersia Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
This room was a lot of gun! Kept the entire group stimulated throughout. We sped through a lot of the puzzles but were slowed down by one a little bit later. We really enjoyed the theme and the mechanism for requesting hints was a lot of fun. We only used it once, but we got a kick out of it.
The Unknown - L'expérience Sociale [The Unknown - A Social Experiment]
Find the Key
Escape room
IRL
This room was a lot of fun. The puzzles were creative and engaging, and the atmosphere of the room was spot on for the concept. More unsettling than scary, but that's subjective.
