Dr. Jorgβs Lab [prev. The Zombie Lab]
Infinity Escape
Escape room
IRL
The storyline, set design, and vibe of the room was great! The puzzles were challenging, but doable enough with the occassional hint requests. However, I think I'm just really not a fan of futuristic/laboratory-themed escape rooms. Overall, this room was ok. I have no complaints. The puzzles were great, and the GM was helpful and friendly. It was just not my cup of tea. βοΈ

I think what I like the best about this escape room was the storyline, even the gameplay itself was fun. Somewhat challenging, but not overly complex ... we did need hints to point us to the right direction, but we didn't get stuck until the very end wherein we missed an item to solve a puzzle. π«π One thing I recommend they modify might be their hint system wherein the GM hands pieces of paper for clues. I do not find that efficient most especially since time is of the essence in a 60-minute escape room. BUT if that's their thing ... ohh well. π€·π»ββοΈ The escape room is still a lot of fun. π

I really love this escape room! Such a unique and fun experience! Never had done anything like this before. I thought when they said "pitch dark", they mean there will be some flashlights ... but NO. You and your team will be immersed in darkness with just your other 4 senses to rely on. π I imagine the GMs for this escape room are having a blast watching people run on/grope each other. ππ€£ One thing that I did want to point out was that during our game, our GM realized that the room wasn't properly reset and were missing some key elements. I wish they would've given us discount codes, or free stickers as compensation but that didn't happen. Ohh well ... π€·π»ββοΈ Overall though, I had a great time! Very fun room. Not too scary, no jumpscares and no live actors. I think it's just the right amount of spooky. π

Fun room! Very intricate set design with challenging puzzles. I just wished my team agreed to ask for clues early on instead of trying to figure things out on our own (which is not bad, but clock is ticking!). Overall, very creative theme and storyline for an escape room, just not ... my favorite since I'm not into futuristic-themed escape rooms. And ... I think some of the puzzles in the room weren't working properly so that most definitely negatively affected our gameplay experience. Overall, it's great! It just didn't live up to its hype.

Red Door Escape Room - San Mateo

Quite conflicted with this one. I like it, but ... the manual labor stuff and the amount of puzzles that require brain power are not well-balanced. I did this room with my husband and we're both experienced escape room puzzlists, but we didn't escape unfortunately. We did reach the end of the room with 2 remaining puzzles to solve. We ran out of time. And it's all because there were about 4 "games" in the room that ... wastes one's time with it being physically intensive, which then takes away from actual puzzle solving. For instance, there was a "game" that took us a good 15 minutes because it requires for us to be slow and in-sync with our movements ... no puzzle solving, just pure mechanics. The puzzles itself are not difficult, but the physically intensive parts of the room will take up so much of one's time.

Ahh, this room was like a labyrinth! π² Very cool production, unique storyline, and not at all what I was expecting. π Tbh, it was not my cup of tea. Some of the "games" were so repetitive, and so I think there may be some malfunctioning happening. Also, I wanted to feel the sense of more urgency in terms of finding clues and solving puzzles and ... this did not give me that. It was still fun, but it didn't live up to the hype that people built up for me. I really hope I get to do the other escape rooms at Palace of Fine Arts because I heard those ones are more like your typical escape rooms which I very much prefer.

SHOUTOUT to Truth!!! One of the best GMs ever! I love this room! I'm a dog person, but I like cats and I did this with a friend who is a cat person. π Great set design! Love the vibe, atmosphere, and the puzzles were very challenging! π«π΅βπ« In one of the rooms, we got stuck on 2 different puzzles ... our GM gave us hints 3 times, but it wasn't clicking in my head until it did. LOL! The other puzzles were challenging, but very much doable on your own. And we also had the help of our GM who just made the entire experience more fun! And also took a lot of photos of us. Thanks again, Truth! You did an awesome job. ππΌπ«ΆπΌ

Very scary room and perhaps one of the biggest one I've ever had the pleasure of doing! The puzzles weren't too hard, but I was paralyzed with fear which affected my problem-solving abilities. π π€£ I was honestly surprised my friend and I escaped (by the skin of our teeth). ππ£ Our GM (Allen) was fun and helpful! I'll most definitely come back to do more.

I love this room! But I got to be honest, the vibe, ambiance, and atmosphere was okay. It was top-notch production or even close to Hijinx at Joffree Manor. But I gotta admit, I love the puzzles in this room more than the Joffree Manor one. I think it's because I like the storyline better on this one. I really hope they revamp/rework this escape room because the theme and storyline are great! Just needs more work in terms of set design.

My favorite escape room at Infinity Escape! I was blown away by the design of this room! The mysterious atmosphere the fog provides and the lighting and sound effects were just perfect! The puzzles were also challenging, but doable with the occassional requests for hints. But nothing too bad. The most challenging part was the ending wherein you have to choose which sister is the truly evil one. And please put some thought into choosing which one and not blindly pick one. ππ€£ The only downside was the clue giver in the room is a dragon with a very strong English accent, and I just had a hard time understanding what he was saying. π #teamslytherin
