Hidden Donkey is one of the best escape rooms in OC! They currently only have 2 escape rooms, but I love both! I do prefer the other one over this escape room just because the other room had more puzzles and the puzzles were more intricate. BUT this one is definitely more theatrical. I can't wait what they have in store for us next! #teamslytherin 🐍

One of my all time favorite escape rooms! Quest Tavern is simply the best. There staff is amazing, friendly, and accommodating! And they even let you dress up, how awesome is that? I love being immersed to the theme of the room. 😁 Also, they have the goodest boy, Milo, who they allowed to partake in The Last Supper with Lord Garrick (Commander Snow) at the very end. It just made the overall experience so magical and enjoyable. 😁🐕

A masterpiece! A truly amazingly designed escape room with puzzles that are well-thought out. Very cute storyline too. 🤭 The only downside was that I could barely hear the hints/clues from the GM (maybe it has something do with my difficulties of listening to high pitched voice with certain accents) BUT overall, very well done room. 👏🏼

My favorite escape room at Hidden Donkey! I even wore my entire Slytherin uniform set so I could totally immerse myself in the theme. Everything is just 10/10. 😁 #teamslytherin 🐍

I love this escape room! I love pirate themed escape rooms in general, and this one had a great set design, vibe, atmosphere ... the only downside was the intro for the escape room was pretty lengthy. The GM gives you the task, leaves, and then comes back with more talking ... I hope they can cut back on the lengthy introduction. But other than that, I really enjoyed this room. I even got my own Flint because he is sooo cute! 🥹🦜

Very scary room and perhaps one of the biggest one I've ever had the pleasure of doing! The puzzles weren't too hard, but I was paralyzed with fear which affected my problem-solving abilities. 😅🤣 I'm honestly surprised my friend and I escaped (by the skin of our teeth). 😭😣 Our GM was fun and helpful! I'll most definitely come back to do more.

Very cute and creative! BUT the Scooby-Doo gang won't be there -- it's just Scooby-Doo themed. I love the ambiance, atmosphere, and the decor! 10/10 all the way ... the puzzles, on the other hand, they were challenging and fun ... but a bit of a hot mess. Initially, I thought it was non-linear, but as the time went on it was apparently linear ... 🤔 I think there needs to be some improvement with how some of the puzzles were designed.

I love the theme of this room! 🍬🍫🍭 Very cute and whimsical. They even let you eat the candies in the room (the ones that are edible). How cute is that? 😭☺️ BUT I gotta be honest, this is my least favorite room amongst the 4 escape rooms at Quest Tavern. The theme was great, the puzzles were great as well ... just not a huge fan of reading books/diaries in a 60-min. escape room. 😅

Idk why I do this to myself. I get scared easily, but I'm drawn to horror-themed escape rooms. This one, just like the Return to Coulrophobia, has a live actor who will scare the bajesus out of you. I was with 3 other people. 2 were pretty brave, and the other one was just like me. I have to admit, I was carried by my team. I tried not to be a dead weight, but maaann ... I was paralyzed with fear that any puzzle just becomes even more difficult/challenging. Anyway, I hope they reopen soon. I can't wait to see on what they are planning when they reopen.

This is my favorite escape room from Deceptive Games! It was also the first one I've done in their site. The storyline is 10/10. As an animal lover, I was determined to rescue those pets the clown stole. But goodness, I did not realize that the live actor/GM is willing to be physical. I was grabbed by the wrist, and as I was crawling through a tunnel, my right foot was grabbed and I had no choice but to launch myself out of the tunnel to safety. LOL! It was pretty hilarious. My adrenaline was high the entire time and my husband definitely carried me because it came to a point where I could no longer think because I was sooo scared. 😭 Anyway, despite all that, this one was fun, creative, and well-thought out!
