Escape From The Haunted ManorREAL ESCAPE GAME CROSSING AsakusaEscape roomIRLThis was a super unique experience to play with individuals who speak different languages! Each player is given a small, translator device to wear and use to help communicate, but it was also fun trying to find other ways to communicate with the group. The puzzles were simple and not language-dependent. However, the simplicity of the puzzles did not minimize the overall quality of the experience, in my opinion. There is a live actor in the room and it got truly spooky sometimes! The game master is also in the room with you, and they are helpful making sure the group stays on the right track (in all languages). Would I fly all the way to Japan just for this room? No. Would I recommend it if you're already there? Absolutely!
Prison Break: AlcatrazThe Escape Game - Fisherman's WharfEscape roomIRLIt really came down to the wire with two players and we needed a couple hints. One puzzle was slightly broken, but they added a few minutes to our game clock when we got it figured out to make up for the time we spent fiddling with it. Friendly staff. Fun story.

Our game master was friendly! We didn't end up needing any clues, so would rate this as an easier room. Worked well with our group of four.

We played with a group of four and that seemed like an ideal number. This room could get chaotic with more than four or five people. Our game master, Andrew, was enthusiastic and helpful. This room will be retiring soon, so be sure to book it before it's gone!!

He also laughed at us during the after-game recap for one of the puzzles we struggled with (please note, not laughing at us in character or as a jest, just truly rude). We would not recommend playing a room here.
Curse On The Emerald SeasPuzzle Effect - BendEscape roomIRLThis room was tricky, but we still managed to sort it out with just the two of us and a couple of hints. A couple of puzzles had us stumped and one was somewhat frustrating, but still enjoyed the room overall.
Grim Stacks: Books & BindingsPuzzle Effect - BendEscape roomIRLThis room was so immersive; we felt that we had been transported to the magical world of witches and wizards! There were even some props available for us to wear to rep our house colors while we played. 🦁🐦⬛ The two of us solved the room with time to spare. It was a good challenge! Our game master was awesome and really hyped us up for our victory! Medium difficulty; we were able to complete it without hints. Puzzles worked well and made sense. This room might be crowded with more than 4 people.
